Ha. Better yet, my kids should be cleaning it out. But, even if it was, my wagon wouldn't fit in that so called "oversized" garage.

I have a garage. The only things that fits are my bike and Z. Nothing else fits because the garage has a 6ft tall door.

Your rear bumper looks great! Do you know if a WD hitch on an ‘05 would create mounting issues? Guess I’ll call mercenary & chat about that. Really like the look on your truck!👍

The bumper I got was from Maple Off-road. It bolts on over/above the OE hitch in the same position as the OE bumper. I don't see a 3rd gen offer on his site selection, but I think he used to because he's had or has a 3rd gen himself. You might try calling Neil to see if he will make a 3rd gen bumper for you. His is definitely softer on your pocketbook than Mercenary. This bumper is solid. He has a video where he slams it over and over with an 18 lb sledge.

They're a good brand. It's nice to see someone actually purchase sliders before lift and tires. Gotta armor up whether you're stock or linked with coilovers and 42s.

So, with much trials and tribulations, my Smartbar module is officially a paper weight and has been fully removed from my truck.

Rausch Creek's water crossings and Jersey Pine Barren's bog holes ended in frying my Smartbar module this year. The source of water incursion being the OE wire harness connection.

This literally fried the internals. When I removed the main connector, nasty burnt electronics flavored water poured out. Yes, I got a slight taste of it because I wasn't expecting it to flow out.

Enter Abel Components. I already had his originally designed system that overrides the nannies built into the system, but still relies on the Smartbar connection for the lockers, and a separate system for the swaybar disco. Note that the separate swaybar system was unharmed but required a separate switch to operate.

I worked directly with David at Abel Components. He came up with a system to install his control box inside the safety of the cab, but also to control lockers and swaybar disco with the OE dash controls, but totally circumventing the Smartbar and faulty designed connectors.

The following photos display where I mounted the control box under my dash panel (4th gen). The wire harness connects directly to the dash control and the remainder of the harness routes through the clutch block off plate to ground, battery, fuse panel, front locker, rear locker and swaybar actuator.

First, is the fried Smartbar module:ImageImage

Just finished up a small job that I partially completed months ago. I had previously run a wire harness from the running battery to the rear of the bed with a single 12V outlet. It was just kind of sitting there not mounted because I knew I wanted to do a 3 gang outlet. I did the final drilling and mounting for that today. Mounted to rear structure of the bed so that the connections could be accessed from the rear tail light openings.ImageImage
