I know. Powdercoating lasts about one year here in Pa. The first stone chip in it, and it's finished. I'm redoing my rails next spring. Sand them down and spray them with truck bed coating in a spray can from Advanced Auto. Everytime I scrap the bottoms by dragging them across rocks. I can touch them up with the can.

I just keep touching mine up with spray paint when I get a chance here and there. Pretty much all you can do if you use them.
