BTW, if you want to start inviting those PW guys on your trip list to come over here, please do. Do it by PM for now though.

Or a safer bet, if you got their number, do so by text.

Hey guys made the move over. I'm looking a little tentative for Rausch at this point. I've had to work all weekend at my paying job, so it is really putting me behind on my farm work. I'm going to try my hardest to make it, but I will know better the week before the trip.

I hope you can make it. I know what it's like to be behind, you're being pulled in two directions.

On another note....got new mud chuckers on their way for the truck, rear bumper is almost done, and getting my rear springs done tomorrow morning. I'm a happy, broke camper.

I got another Power Wagon that lives down the road from me, he's coming too...... :lockedandloaded: What time are the VA Boys meeting up Pdavey?

Good question. One of my friends is coming along for the weekend. I am still trying to coordinate with him but I would say meet up in your neck of the woods by 1:00 PM?

What say you?

1 pm is great. No use going any sooner............ lol

Rear Springs are done and gave me right at 3". I decided to add a leaf so it'll last longer. My leafs were pretty well flat, and now they have a great arch to them. He added a pretty thin leaf and said it will help it hold it's new position, and still let it flex well. I've tested it out and still get full stuff in the rear. I know it's not like getting custom ones from Carli or Thuren, but it's all I could do right now. My right side always sat a little lower from overloading it with firewood, and he even tweaked that side more to lift it more than the other side. It still rides about an inch lower at the frame rail..........he said it might be a weak coil up front that's causing it to lean that way. The front right does sit a little lower, but it's not as obvious as the back. Oh well........ :(

New chuckers should be here tomorrow.

Glad to see you got your springs fixed/worked on! Going with the Firestone MT's again?

I went with the Nitto Mud Grappler Extreme's. I hear they wear quick, but do great in the mud rocks and sand. My Destinations still have some street life left in them. Too worn out for the off road stuff, but on the road, they're ok. I'm going to get a set of steel wheels and put the Deistinations on them and just run the Mud Grapplers off road.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY EXTRA STEELIES THEY ARE GOING TO JUNK, LET ME KNOW.
I just need three. :secret:

Tell me about it. Moab trips were always rough. This year it worked out really good. Everybody got their stuff to post on Youtube as well as access to everyone's pics to save what they wanted and it didn't require installing any software, they all just used their web browser to access it. Works best if the videos are posted individually with descriptive names of who it's of and what obstacle and then the pics get zipped up into a single file for upload and download.

PDavey,

My neighbor's son doesn't get out of school until 3:00......Would it be a problem to meet at 3:30 instead of 1:00?

One of his friends is bringing his Jeep to tag along in, so I figured it'd be nice to have a convoy and stick together. :D
