Wish I could have gone with you guys. Maybe next year. Maybe 2015. Kids wanted to go and they didn't get out of school until June 12th. I just happy to be going finally. Used to the heat being from South Texas. Plus going to Colorado for a few days wheeling after that. Can't wait.

Yeah, my kids don't get out till end'ish of May, so I take them out of school for two days, but by then they're all pretty much in wind down mode and there's not much they're missing.

The first year I was out there was the first weekend in June. It was 102 by 11:00 am. And it only got down to low 90's at night. Last time there was the first weekend in May. The weather was perfect.

So, before we get too much closer. What's the final word on when we want to go? First weekend in May, 3rd weekend in May? 4th weekend in May? Last weekend in May? 2nd weekend is out as that's Mother's Day IIRC.

I say we stick with the first weekend in May, 1st-4th as we have for the past couple years. As stated, the second weekend is Mother's Day weekend, the third weekend is the Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks UTV event which will make things a little crowded and the fourth weekend is Memorial Day weekend.

We're most likely doing the condos again. They're priced pretty much the same as a motel there and they're a heck of a lot nicer. I'll post up the details and we'll want to jump on renting them early. Stuff fills up fast in Moab with all the events going on just about every weekend.

Now let's talk trails! Stuff us mortal PW owners can do. (Looking at Carlos...) ;-)

Just call or go online. I don't think we've ever had any kind of group rate, as the most number of rooms we've ever had was 3. Maybe this year we'll have more and may be able to negotiate a better deal. Although I doubt it, since they usually seem to be booked when we're there and don't seem to need to wheel and deal to get their condos filled. But it couldn't hurt to ask.
