I called the place we stayed at last year, Pine Grove. They are booked! No places left! 6/21 is their fireworks weekend. So we have to go someplace else.
Have these two camp grounds that I can call tomorrow. Let me kow so that I can get both me and Mike a spot.

Weekend of 6/21. The camp ground we used last year is booked up. So we have to find someplace else. Mike texted me earlier about Rausch Creek itself. It's free, but we would have to ruff it some what.

Yayyyy! I thought we lost you! Are you good for the weekend of June 21? I plan to go there on Friday and stay till Monday. That was when we had a campground to go to. It may change if we go to another campground, or stay at RC.

You regulars can stay in my camper, and others can jump in where there is room. I'm sure tents are ok, as well. As I write this, Brad (my son) is looking at a few other campgrounds. Russ, I'll be in touch with you.

Gentlemen,

It seems as though the KOA campground we use is completely booked for our weekend. It is an event weekend for them, and special events are usually booked a year in advance. So, we have been looking at other options. There are a few campgrounds near RC, but the online reviews are not good. There is another KOA campground about 18 miles from Rausch Creek, near the I81/I78 interchange. I spoke with Russ, and we agree that this would work for us. They have 2 cabins. At this time they have plenty of open sites and the cabins are available. I am going to book tomorrow, and Russ will book as well. When we have sites, we will post the numbers. We are shooting for creekside sites because the cabins are nearby. Here is a link to their website:

Everyone that is reserving a site or a cabin needs to call, because they will want a deposit. If they are the same as the other campground, it will be the cost of one night.

Russ, I haven't had a chance to call them and book a site. I will do it tomorrow (payday  ). I will text you if I don't hear from you first.

Here is the link to the campground where we will be staying this year:

http://koa.com/campgrounds/jonestown/

The phone numbers: (717)865-6411 or (800)562-2609

I have reserved site #48. Russ will reserve site #47 in the morning.

THERE IS ONLY ONE CABIN LEFT! HURRY! SOMEBODY RESERVE IT!

We waited a little too long to plan this year, but I think we will be OK. The campground is having a Redneck Weekend for us!

I had to get site 58, so that I would have room for parking for Ace, and Chris. And it's an easy pull-thru. Tried to get 47, but the girl said it's for a small camper. I'll be there early Friday, and leave Sunday around noon.

Now I'm a little worried- they told me 47 would fit a 35ft camper. I hope we have sites when we get there! Lol!!

After talking to the girl. I thought it would be best to take 58. More room for parking.

I can bring 20 or 30 bone-in split chicken breasts.

I was thinking of ordering some Primo hoagies, like a party trayor something, for Saturday lunch on the trails, too. It will give folks a choice and taste who've never had a real Philly hoagie.

Sent from the Nexus.
