That sounds like a trip of a lifetime. When my son is a few years older I'm definitely going to make that sort of trip.
I'm all sorts of envious.
What does your truck/sleeping setup look like?

Thanks.. It is an epic trip, thats why I try to do it every year with the kids (adults now) and they beg me to go every year.. It is truly the most desolate beaches and kindest people I have ever been too. I must do on your "bucket list"
This is the set up that I have run for years and seems to work VERY well and averages about 11-12mpg.
and can get into some rough places as it is not too big
If you all change your mind, and get a wild hair/only live once attitude,,,,, Would enjoy the company

That's a killer setup. You've got damn near every toy needed.
Post up your pics when you make the run

Any interest in going around the B1000? I’m considering going this year with a group from the go-fast side of things

Thanks, Ive done BAJA a few times and decided to find a way to bring the necessary toys
I am in Sorrento, Fl Near Orlando (sort of)
With that set up with the small trailer in the pics I do average about 13-14mpg @ 80mph
With the Camper installed and towing the Tandem flatbed with the PW and the SXS (24' flatbed) I average about 11-12mpg @ 80mph I get MUCh better fuel economy if I run her at 65-70mph (but who the hell wants to do that:):):)
Im kinda stuck to those dates because the Swell at Scorpion Bay are epic during those times and the guys I'm rolling with are good for those dates too. But I go every year, and am always interested in a trip during ANY of the races in Baja.. It is always a killer time to travel in Baja.
