Re: Front Driveshaft Grease Fitting doesn't want to take grease

With my free spin hubs I don't ahve to do anything except turn theThe only time I took my truck for an oil change at the dealer, they didn't even touch that fitting. I took it back and asked them why not, they didn't even know about it! Then the service manger said it's too difficult to lube! With f...

Re: Bouncing Problemos

60pis tire pressure? Get your truck weighed (front and rear seperatly) and set the tire perssure according to the load table for your tires. I have 315/70/17 on my Dodge diesel and run 35 front 32 rear,no bouncing, very nice ride for a 3/4 ton truck!

Re: Spare Fuel

I juat have a 5 gal walmart yellow jug in the front of my truck bed with one of those spills allover spouts nearby. My truck is diesel so the container is not as critical as with gasoline. 8-)
I do have a one gallon rotopax for gasoline on the back of my dirt bike.

FS Gauges $100.00

I had no reading on my trans temp gauge so I thought the sensor was bad. Ordered glowshift trans temp and oil pressure gauges. I found the wires to the trans sensor had been torn off by a low branch or something I ran over. I was able to fix that  So now I bought a matching oil pressure gaug...

Re: New motorcycle

I traded a very nice BMW1100 for my dual purpose bike. The roads are getting too dangerous now days. Seems like no one even stops at stop signs anymore! And for sure turn signals might as well not be installed on most cars as no one seems to use them except me.

Re: New motorcycle

It's a one owner that took meticulous care of it, my next door neighbor actually. He has at least 6 or 7 classic BMW's and is where I got the BMW a couple of years ago that I traded him for this LOL

Air compressor

I have a viair 200 psi OBA on my truck, love it for the engine brake, hair horn and airing up tires. I had an issue of it not holding pressure and running continuously. I did extensive troubleshooting and thought the compressor was toast so I ordered another one and replaced the alleged bad one. Sam...

Yeah, I haven't driven it yet because of low vision due to cataract surgery. I did think about the noise issue, I guess I'll see soon enough. I'm going in for my new glasses prescription this morning.

xfer case linkage

I have seen more than one thread about the transfer case shift linkage problems with the rubber grommet so knowing the rubber looses it's elasticity (gets hard) as it ages and my truck is 12 years old I decided to do something about it before it starts to fall off. Two standard heim joints with 3/8 ...

Re: 2015 Needs a new battery

I think the two batteries in my truck were original when I bought it, if so they lasted about 8 years here in central Arizona with summer temps over 100* often. Now I use Walmart extreme or what ever their premium battery is and they have a three year free replacement guaranty and last about 5 years...

Re: Funny Picture Thread

I've had a few cars/trucks with 3 on the tree.....what's the big deal? The truck that I have now is only the third vehicle I've had in my 71 year life time with an auto trans only because I couldn't find a decent priced one with a 6 speed manual. Anyone ever ride a motorcycle with an automatic trans...
