Re: FilterMag questions/ found loose part in rear diff. 3400 mi.
Just going to necro-bump this thread because it was helpful. I just changed the axle fluid on my 2019 PW with 20,000miles. Front fluid was still very clean and clear looking, rear was transparent but pretty dark. Front plug magnet had lots of metal on it, rear had less, interestingly. Cleaned off t...

Re: Trxus MT 4 Oz Balancing Patches?
Tire manufacturers use them to cut down on rejects that don't happen to be within balance tolerance out of Forming.
They are more common in larger tires now - instead of selling tires and expecting the consumer to add tons of weight to the rim

Just replaced all four Brakes and Rotors yesterday with EBC yellow stuff pads and EBC GD Sport Rotors. ~$800 Only part way through bedding and break in process so far and the improvement is significant. I opted not to do the calipers because all 4 were fully functional and the best pads give the mos...

Re: Oil Pressure Related Check Engine Light
AMSOIL makes great products - you pay a little more and maybe you feel better because you use it. :cash: The Ram engineers selected PUP oil and Mopar filters for the 6.4 - so that is what I use. Lots of better products Frig up our vehicle sensors and gauges. Take rain-X washer fluid for example, run...

After the truck has been sitting off for a few hours, see if the winch solenoid is slightly warmer than everything around it. The hand held infrared thermomitors are great for this but your hand may feel the difference if it is draining your battery that fast.

You are going into "Limp mode"
PO735 --> issue with 5th gear ratio
PO871 --> lack of fluid pressure
5th is an overdrive
consider a fluid change... and PO871 is likely coming first and then triggering the PO735 when it tries to shift into OD

I keep it on a sheet of plywood although I don't think that is required anymore. Modern batteries are allegedl...

Using Safari on an iPad or iPhone, it actually posts but spews out an error... (I threw out Tapatalk a few years ago)

Battery time
The OEM original battery just barely turned over and started the truck this morning at 5 below zero. The 7 year old battery never failed me, but I'm not going to push my luck any longer. I've only used the inexpensive Walmart Everstart in everything I own and always get 6 to 10 years out of them. :c...

I've run 4 sets of the BFG KO or KO2 on various vehicles... They are prone to cupping on the outside lugs and wear faster than you might expect (regardless of what pressures you run them at).
