Re: 2018 Transmission Failure

i didnt have it flushed with a flushing system. oil was drained and refilled. Why did you flush it? Was you fluid dark/black or was it due to operating characteristics? I get some clunking/hard shifts on mine but I chalk that up to normal with a 8k lb truck on heavy 37s and factory gears. After rea...

Shit man keep us posted. Im pretty hard on my truck and between the engine, axles, and trans I feel like the trans is the weak link.

From reading your posts I'm thinking you and I have similar driving styles

Re: Cooper Discover AT3

I've had 37" Cooper STT Pros for over 20k miles and they are still over half tread (15/32" on average). Probably 4000 miles towing and a solid 2-300 offroad/heavy trails. I'm not easy on my tires but I am religious about rotating and balancing them every 4000-5000 miles. With that being said, if the...

Re: Working on an Electric Sway Bar Bypass

I'm sure the first question going through everyones mind is "How much?". I'm still waiting on a quote from the machine shop, but I'm hoping to keep it right around $249. Considering that the other options for remote control functionality are more expensive and require the purchase of an OBA system,...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues

I swapped the fluid and did the rear speed bleeders this weekend (rear only, fronts were the incorrect size). I used a turkey baster to fully evacuate the reservoir, refilled and bled the rears. Then I evacuated and refilled the reservoir again to replenish as much as possible with fresh fluid. Wha...

Competition is good.
My thoughts exactly. Would be nice if Ram got there head out of there ass and had PW specific bumpers (similar to the ZR2 or Raptor), stock 35s, optional snorkel (Tacoma), onboard air (new defender) and optional OEM rock rails.

New Ram PW for 2021!

A guy can dream right?

What fog lights are you going to use?

What about hilift points or dring mounts?

Use the Tow/Haul button if you really want to keep the MDS off... That will turn the trans into a 5 speed suck a little more gas for you. :poke:
Another way is to just manually set your gear to 6th. Should help your MPG by .5mpg over tow/haul   :D

They will fit. Many are running 12.5" wide tires on stock wheels.

Re: Should I sell my 2007 PW

If it were me and I was a patient man like you appear to be, I would wait until they did the cab refresh on the HDs. That flat rear floor and extra rear leg room is more appealing than a 8spd, 12" screen and synthetic winch. Cab refresh? Maybe I missed something. I have an 06 and onbth fence to tra...

I started using the SRT Filters. Figure it's good enough for 700hp, it's good enough for my pig.

Genuine Mopar 5038041AA FILTER https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006T08WXM/re ... wDbZ56ZSXT

Previous to that I was using the AA filter.

I've camped at Lone Rock Beach by Page Az. It depends on what the lake level is as to where you can find a good spot for camping. My youngest stepson said the lake is higher now then what it has been in the last few years. Have to watch out for the generator nazi. The guy patrols every night to mak...

Ouray, CO to Las Vegas, NV - Trail/Scenic Suggestions

I'm headed to Ouray from Las Vegas this Friday, the plan is to camp at Lake Powell/Lone Rock Beach Friday Night, then head into Ouray Saturday. Ouray trails Saturday-Tuesday then take a scenic route back to Las Vegas. I have a 20' camper and plan to BLM/Forest Camp as often as possible bu not oppose...

Damn, that stinks. Good to hear all are okay. One of my biggest fears when driving around Las Vegas/California are people running red lights. I see it way to often.

Might want to pick a good dashcam for the next truck. From your signature it seems you are on track for a 2019 PW...

Hey ya'll

It's July 2019.

What's the biggest tire you can put on a 2018 Power Wagon without any rubbing, or issues?

How is the BFG KM3?

What wheels do I need to run 37" Toyos?

Thanks!

I picked up a 2.5lb abc marine/auto and an Element e50. Best of both worlds.

The element extinguishers look pretty sweet and the price/size is hard to beat.
