Re: Dual Battery Installation 2016 PW

http://www.offroadengineering.com/product-dodge-ram-sterling.html I have the HIC-300 high idle kit on my truck for stationary winching (stumps and such) and it is awesome. I can be watching the stump and using my wireless remote and have the truck at 2k rpms. I also have a second battery in my 12. I...

Re: Oil change DIY 1st time advice

My only tip since you seem experienced already would be to use a 5 gallon bucket as a drain pan. Fits great up to the bottom of the pan and prevents splashing.

WTB stock leaf springs 4g

Hey guys. I am looking for some stock leaf springs off a 4th gen. Need the shackles too. And u-bolts if you have them. I am swapping the suspension on my off road trailer and would prefer to match my truck. I can get used Chevy leafs around here no problem for a cheap price. So just thought if someb...

Re: New (soon to be offroad) Trailer

I had my fair share of minimalist and roughing through Scouts. The trailer suits my current wants right now and can go most places I want to take my truck. Im sure I will want to get a real trailer when I get older.

Re: Best dual battery "kit"?

I got a 200 amp solenoid off ebay. Both my winches on my second battery. Solenoid switches when key is turned. Never had any problems with anything. Even when doing some hard winching. I do also have a high idle kit and keep duty cycle to less than %50 when winching.

I have the Road Armor bumper. Only thing with a regular 2500 bumper is you kill the approach angle with the unnecessary winch space.

Re: Fuel capacity and quality

I think I read once that the normal tank size is 32 gallons for a new Hemi 2500, but the PW only has a 31 gallon (for rear articulation?). My '12 has 34 gallons.

I went with AT2 Extremes. I am in Boise and having the tire suport from Les Schwabs was a big selling point. There is one in every town, everywhwere it seems.

Re: Toyo Open Country A/T II versus Toyo Open Country R/T

I have the at2 extremes and have had them in everything. Only the clay mud that i would sink more than about 3-4 inches in is the only thing i have had trouble with. They have performed superbly. I went with these over the r/t because those just came out and had a slightly less mileage warranty. Mig...

I am chalking mine up to smart bar as well. Not only to the teeth being loose. But the hanger is super loose and allows the body to shake.

Re: New (soon to be offroad) Trailer

Definitely a lot of luxuries to get the better half to go. But better in the trailer than the truck. We drop the trailer at camp then go have fun in the truck.
