Interesting! Understood everything you said. It's a job I could have done and a field that I think I would have enjoyed. We probably have many interests in common beyond a PW! Your comment about the HAM guys made me chuckle. I got my tech license about 8 years ago for off-road use, and possible emer...

I expect sub 10ms pings. You'll have to go back and do better. 😎🤣 That pretty cools stuff man! Nice toys you've got too. How'd you get into that line of work (and what do you call it, there must be a title for longer radio shots like that)? I'm assuming you can stay fairly busy given our demand for ...

Re: Towing 8K lb trailer, Air Bags w/Cradles or WDH?
OP, try it first without the airbags and see how she tows. It is an easy half day job to install them if you're not happy. I will say however, having owned and towed both a 28' Airstream and a 28' Desert Fox (Nash) towing the two were quite different with the same truck (Dmax, 8' crewcab) and same W...

Re: Towing 8K lb trailer, Air Bags w/Cradles or WDH?
The bigger question is bags with internal stops or not. I didn't get them, sometimes I regret it, other times not. I never really got a good understanding on how much they would limit articulation. Being in NV is as tough a choice as I had here in AZ. Sometimes I'm able to run pretty fast on dirt, o...

To the OP, if you don't have it now, I'd highly suggest Thurens rear tracbar and bracket relo. (along with bags and WD).

Re: The "Real Reliability"
worked great for over a week. better MPG, and definitely added power....but yesterday! HOLD UP! some funky stuff happened just now. pulled up onto a curb and parked level on some grass next to the road. inflated FRONT tires from 40PSI warm to 48PSI....cold they were at 38PSI. (wanted to test out so...

Go to any other vehicle model specific forum, and you'd be able to generate an equal list of complaints. I find #2 of particular interest, as you bring it up frequently over the past year of your posts, yet you didn't until today even know where the connector is until I told you. And complain...

Re: Axle unlock flashing orange
It is right on the swaybar actuator. Large, flat, with a locking handle that operates the cam lock. Easy to get to and very positive in its' engagement. I've not read of people fighting with it.

Re: Axle unlock flashing orange
Well my front sway bar disconnect has actually never worked, I gave up on that. Guess they use a terrible connector that comes loose, gets dirt in it, ect, ect. Never worked, not even when I bought it, dealer fixed under warranty and charged me one time. I don't do a ton of real wheeling and you do...

Re: The "Real Reliability"
I just rolled 67k on my '16. One failure, an EVAP solenoid that was covered. The upper intermediate shaft bushing is also wearing out. Your use of reliability means, at least to me, failure to be operated which of items listed would be transmission in limp mode. A cable operated parking pawl binding...
