Re: Engine RPM controller?
Thanks for all of the helpful replies! I'm not around my PW at the moment so I can't take a peak: Is there room under the hood of an 06 for a second battery and does anyone offer a mounting/cable kit for it? Also, has anyone with the Diablo programmer messed around with the idle adjustment to see wh...

Engine RPM controller?
I'm looking for a way to maintain a higher engine RPM (besides feathering the pedal) while winching to help keep the battery voltage up. Does anyone have a solution for this? I've been checking out a Diablo Trinity tuner/programmer and noticed that it can adjust the idle RPM but will it raise it mor...

Re: Question about the G56
My PW is an 06 also with 19,500 miles. I've been reading a little about this noise. It's referred to as "gear rollover". Judging by how much info I'm able to find on the web, I'm beginning to realize that this noise must be quite common in the G56s. Expecially, when the guys with Dodge diesels conve...

Question about the G56
I've put a little over 3,000 miles on my PW since purchasing in March and I've noticed that I hear a "reverberation" type of noise coming from the transmission for a brief period when I start off in first gear. I hear it also when I start off in low gear, but not nearly as much. It goes away once yo...

Re: Engine idling too low?
Thanks for the responses! Well, I live in Minnesota. I'm 24 years old and I work as an Ag diesel mechanic. I was shopping around for pickups back in March and I found my power wagon on the internet. At the moment it only has 18,000 miles on it. I plan on using it primarily to pull my boat around. I ...

Engine idling too low?
Hello all, I'm glad I found the Power Wagon registry! This is quite a site. I have a question about my power wagon which I just bought recently. It's an 06 with a 6 speed manual transmission. When the engine is up to operating temperature, it idles at about 600 rpms, which seems (and sounds) low. Th...
