Re: Used Pricing on PW's

I was offered 28,000 for my 06 six months ago. I took it :o . Miss the truck but couldn't pass up the offer. about two months later I found a 2012 3500 slt cummins with 17,500 miles for 32,000 also could not pass it up  In my opinion these trucks can hold their value because no one else makes ...

Re: Free Spin Hub Maintenance

Or you could be like an unlucky few here that have had r&p problems front axle seals,, u joints etc on the front axle go bad on the trail or the road where unlocking the hubs would have allowed them to drive to get repair. In my opinion it would only take 1 tow bill from out on the road to more than...

Re: Battery isnt dead but PW will not start

Battery can have a dead cell but will only reveal itself when put under load, So your battery can show 12 volts with no load. Under load and dead cell = not enough juice to start. Not even a click, And it will give you no warning either. If possible have a parts store load test it. Just my 2 f...

Re: Frozen Wagon

Thankfully my truck was 300 miles south of this storm when it hit, otherwise my truck would be covered in ice as well. I've started looking at chains because of this storm. Looks like there aren't many options that fit a 35 inch tire. How do you go about clearing this much ice off your trucks? When...

Yup this is the kinda stuff that helped me move my truck to the garage. We get this almost every year in Washington, and its like concrete, it was over 2" thick in places, Have to get up an hour early just to get into the truck, Block heater works good though :D

[quote="2wagons1driveway"]Hey I'm sure many of you have seen the dynatrac locking hub kit for 35 spline axle shafts. Is anyone running one if so do you love it and why did you go with it?? Sick of doing bearings? The ease of service or the fuel mileage increase? For me it was peace of mind in not ha...

The cradles came in today. They look well made. Where are you guys mounting the Schrader valves? I had them in the upper licence plate holes on my 1500 and will probably do the same thing with these. Re: Low Life Wastes of Oxygen!

Does it seem to anyone else that we as a human race are going down the wrong road when it comes to respect of others property, morality, pride in oneself, etc. etc. Today my family and I had to stop at a home store to get a few odds and ends. Walked out and I immediately notice a large scratch on t...

Re: Starting to hate my G56...

Less than 1,500 miles ago I had my clutch, release and pilot bearings replaced. All was good until I started hearing a noise in neutral after driving on the highway for some time. Did some more research and it could be a bad input shaft bearing (finger's crossed it's not). Poured over tons of threa...

This could have been a cool commercial if they had a snorkel on the truck and it got out. If those idiots couldn't get it out without a snorkel, a snorkel wouldn't have helped....it was stuck before the tide came in. :geek: I'm aware- read my post again. I know this topic has been brought up many times before, but it never gets very far. So I now have 2 busted driver side manifold bolts that need to be fixed and I think 1 passenger side bolt.
