Those are great deals! Grabbed a winch cable and a couple snatch straps for various vehicles. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: 2006 Front Driveshaft Rebuild
I think I've sorted out the part numbers off the Spicer site but they don't jive with the ones George told me so now I'm really confused....any chance you've got that list? Thanks

Re: 2006 Front Driveshaft Rebuild
So I got the driveshaft out and pressed out all the joints. Found the bad u-joint that had two ends completely dry
. Glad it didn't come apart on me.
George at 8lug still the place for spicer joints? Anyone have the part numbers?
And any insight on what gets rebuilt on the double cardan?
Thanks

Re: 2006 Front Driveshaft Rebuild
Okay, I'll do that right away until I get the parts together.
When you have a minute, would you mind sharing the part numbers and where you got them?
If i understand correctly, I can remove the front driveshaft and still drive the truck without any damage?

2006 Front Driveshaft Rebuild
I noticed towards the end of the winter that I'd get a vibration from the front driveshaft area if I was in 4wd going more than 40-50kmh. To be honest I'd forgotten all about it until today when I needed 4wd for the first time in months. When I went into 4-high there was a noticeable rotational sque...

Re: 3rd Gen Rock Rails ---updated
Hello,
I'm interested in the rock rails. Just curious where you are located? WNY is a big area. Going to have to pull in a favor and get someone to pick them up if I can make this work.
Thanks,
Phillip

Re: Installing my new rock rails hardware question
I had some 1" wide flat stock laying around so I cut them to length with a hack saw and then drilled a hole and opened them up with as square file for the carriage bolt. Not the most efficient way of doing it I suppose but took less than 2 hours. Faster than if I had driven to the machine shop twice...

Re: Baby Seat in a 3g
I'll send some pictures when I get home but we have a one year old in a rear facing seat and a 2.5 year old in a forward facing seat. I'm 6'4" and the older one goes behind me. It's better than our other vehicles so we use it on long road trips (6hrs to see the in laws sorta thing). Having said that...

Winch Controller Pins
I pulled my winch remote out yesterday and it looks like it pulled one of the pins out of the female side on the winch itself. I know I have read about this happening to someone else too but I can't find it in FAQ's and a search didn't come up with anything... Anyone know where I could...
