Hmm, I had that tic for some time.. the comment about No more Dodges, is due to many issues, I have been Dodge man since 1997 with, till then it was ford, all have issues, but this truck has had too may Electrical i...

Sometimes the Hemi tic, is not just a Hemi tic

So my 2006 115K mile PW has always been solid engine and drive train wise (electrical, well that is another story) but I have always had a Tic. Sometimes a bit more than others, but never like a bad engine, etc. So the last two months my Check engine light has come on, and I took it to two different...

Re: Honest No BS Opinions Wanted

I think I agree with all the negative thoughts. I think the truck will stay white with some Line-X Highlights. Plus when it's clean, the white/black combo does look really good. I'm a bit bias, but I think "Big White" is pretty sharp! Remember, Black is Beautiful, and Tan is Grand, but White is the...

Re: Mean as a snake

Reminds me of the first time I went to get the LineX sprayed on my 06 PW, I went in the show room and the lady says what you need, I say I want to get the Line x on my Power Wagon, she says..... We don't do Station wagons, only trucks.... I say well lets just go look at it, and when we walk outside,...

Re: Fuel Injector replacement 5.7 2006

I have replaced the Plugs, and that cylinder again, just incase (Had a few extra) I have replaced the Coil/Plug wires (They are all the same.) It runs very good, with no miss at Speed, will still squall a tire.. it just sputters a bit at idle. Taking it in this weekend, and will reply on results. I ...

Re: Fuel Injector replacement 5.7 2006

thanks to all, I have a friend who is a Dodge Chrysler, mechanic, and he said he would look at it and see what he could find. Napa, AutoZone, both said it was a MisFire on the 8 cylinder, but that was as far as they could figure.

Fuel Injector replacement 5.7 2006

Hi I did a search for Injector replacement and did not find any, has anyone replaced them yet, and if so, was it hard? I have replaced plugs and have replaced a Coil on Number 8 cylinder, and the code still reads Mis Fire on this cylinder, so I am thinking Fuel Injector. I can Buy one from Napa for ...

Re: How to change a A Front Wheel Bearing

You really need to read and adhere to the torque spec on the Big nut and cotter pin. Just tight will not do it, and you will be back in there again.

Re: Wheel bearing going out with less than 8000 mi?

FYI, if installing yourself, you must Torque the Big nut. not just hand tight but Real tight. that is what keeps the Hub tight. a new one will go out very shortly, if not Torqued properly. :secret:

well I had the Dealership do the work, it was already there, only 400$ they had a Level 3 guy work on it. he was happy to work on the Power Wagon, and they all spent time walking around it and laughing at the Bumper Sticker: " Recovery Vehicle for - H3, H2, FJ, YJ and TJ" two bolts were broke and ha...

Re: Anyone else have the weird exhaust noise?

Well, took the truck in for Trans fluid and Check engine light and they said the Check engine light was due to the thermostat, I told them I had put some bars-leak in 6 months past, and that was when the check light started to come on, so they said that is probably it. But…. He said I have an exhaus...

I don't have pic's but my Brother in-law, drilled a Hole in his receiver (Female), and welded a Nut to it, and ran a Bolt a nut, so he could tighten it, and it works great, I have yet to do mine, but will be doing this in the Summer..

Re: 6.4 real world MPGs

Well ran my 2015 to "low fuel" and then 17km. It only took 97 liters (roughly 26 gallons). Pissed off would describe the feeling, unless they hide 5 more gallons in fuel lines and reserve somewhere. Not happy. I'd rather have an extra few gallons that I didn't know about instead of actually running...

I have a 1980 CJ that I Rhino lined the whole inside, and it is much more heavy. As well it dos fade after years, and then what, Scrap it all off??? if it is a Rock / Mud only then ok, but if you want a DD to be covered, I really would not do that. IMO

A good exhaust system.... HEMI's love their RPM's and that could get really old on a long trip.
I installed Firestone BAgs last year, love them, when they are needed..
