What settings did you use? Is it mad that they are over your pressure (can that even happen? I don't know)?OffroadTreks wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 8:49 pmAnyone have the TPMS light stay on even though your thresholds are now reading lower?

did it just start doing that, or its been doing it since you got it?
I'd check the sensors/magnets. Gotta pull the diff covers off, a great time to swap fluid too.

Re: offroad gimbal mounts for action cams like gopro?
Here's my GoPro mounted on the windshield using the GoPro vacuum mount. And here inside my track car using a Ram mount. See the truck video? I would like to eliminate the horizontal sway of the camera when its tilting through the mud holes. Keep the camera flat but the truck movement would be ok. Y...

yeah the new gopro/variants are AMAZING when it comes to stabilization WITHOUT a gimbal. You'll want either the gopro 7 black or the DJI osmo action

Re: New Fog Lights: Rigid SAE/Dot vs Morimoto
I just installed them the other day, and have been dying to use them. My wife has been using the truck the last few days, and other than "working or not" she has no opinion on headlights or fog lights lol.

New Fog Lights: Rigid SAE/Dot vs Morimoto
One of the first things I swapped on my truck was fog lights-I installed the Morimoto direct fit fog lights and housings (all one unit). However, I wasn't really all that pleased with the output since it didn't seem to be better (or as good?) as the factory fogs. I finally swapped over to the Rigid ...

Re: Viair vs ARB
I just installed an air zenith OB2 compressor, I'll have some more pics up later on install. The ONLY thing I don't like about installing this vs the viair 400 duals is that with the viar dual, I'd uh, have dual compressors. I like the redundancy in that in case a compressor goes out for some reason...

Re: 2013-2018 Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc With AlfaOBD!
... I was changing tire size. Not sure if I opened the ABS before or after I did that, but opening ABS caused alarms. It's was like a 90 minute ordeal to try to get the security gateway swapped in and out, and I already have it pulled out so I can't do anything without replacing that, and it's too ...

Hell @kevinabq try this anyway, can't hurt...I don't think so anyway lol. After you plug obdmx/alpha back in, do this: Now (at the home sort of menu in alpha) select dodge/ram button, Ram 1500 or 2500 From drop down, ABS, then ABS Ate/Continental Connect then click on the icon at the bottom with the...

Re: 2013-2018 Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc With AlfaOBD!
Spoke too soon. When I finally got it started I had an ABS service, trailer brake service, no speedometer, no parksense and no rear guidelines. Going in tomorrow, without the bypass module in place. Interestingly the navigation speed warning stuff works, so it must be getting GPS speed. I think it ...

Re: 2013-2018 Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc With AlfaOBD!
Tire size is scary lol. Stuff beeping and dinging with all the lights flashing. After a brief brainfart, I managed to update my tire size to 35s and muddled my way through the instructions for the inputs for adjusting the abs. My 13 now shows my actual speed, was about 2 to 3 mph over, and no abs or...

I swapped in leds to the reverse lights and told the truck there are now leds...no code or message any more. TPMS reprogramming works well on a 2017, thanks a lot! Somebody got an idea if the backup lights check can be disabled, added additional lights and get a message on every startup. Gesendet vo...

Re: New PW getting White Knuckle Rock Rails tomorrow
I've been using grip tape/non slip stuff from amazon and it's worked great for 6+ months and plenty of washes and a bit of snow. Makes it way easier to step on when wet vs just the painted bar itself.

Re: Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc With AlphaOBD!
Change TPMS settings yourself: This shows you how to change the TPMS settings on your truck, but you will need the PIN from the dealer. The pin should be free. Show up in the parts department, bring your ID and registration, and they should give it to you. It is a 4 digit pin. Do NOT get the 5 digit...

Re: Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc With AlphaOBD!
What to do first: Export your logs! Why? When you first plug the OBD scanner and AlphaOBD into your truck, it takes a "snapshot" of everything that is currently set in your truck. This is important for a few reasons. First of all, you know WHAT settings were before you start messing with stuff. Seco...

Hey guys, This came from another Ram forum, but it is INCREDIBLE and I had to share with the rest of you lol. It's called Alfa OBD and it's software for your android phone/tablet, or Windows. You access the truck through an OBD scanner plug such as Scantool OBDLink (link below). There are cheaper ve...

Has anyone looked at the magellon off road GPS, and does anyone know anyone who has tried? Hey, I do. The "rugged" version trx7. I'm on the fence about it. First off, it is really cool-makes it easy to backtrack etc, so I never worry about getting lost in a maze of trees or something. Navigation is...

I picked up a tuff stuff 10 ton off amazon for $35, haven't tested it yet though. Not made in the USA though.
Course this is a lot smaller than the original one you posted, but they claim they've had it up to 15t
