I used Baja cube lights in place of the fog lights. The wide cornering lights are nice.
Pricey, but nice. When I got them they included a mount, cables etc.

Re: 2005 Power Wagon hand me down or keep it as my own?
Well, if someone is going to have an accident a 2500 is a pretty decent vehicle to be in. On the other hand, it’s a big vehicle that offers opportunity to bang into things because you don’t quite get how wide or long it is.

Nitro and Yukon are who everyone who has done this has said they used. I think Yukon was preferred, but not sure any more. A quick look shows that Nitro at least has 4.8 and 5.3 for the 11.5 diff, but errors ordering are expensive. I understand that it’s also not the kind of install that you should ...

Re: Lithium Ion Jump Packs
I’ve read that you can use starter batteries to run systems fairly long-term but you have to only discharge them to like 10% to not kill them in short order. But I’ve never tested that. I have had my truck alarm kill starter batteries dead.

Now I have to clean that plug/switch lead. But for now the rope is spooled up and tucked away. Well I forgot to mention to keep tension on the cable or might end up with bird nest, like on a fishing reel. Sounds like it didn't. If it's not the remote or receptacle, then likely culprit in the soleno...

What do you do with your truck? It's it's off-road mostly then Toyo MTs are great. But they are not best for mileage and on-highway. They are not terrible, but you can certainly do better for less doing mostly highway.

You have my attention. Mil surp hmmwv wheels are 16.5” with a viable bolt pattern. Iirc the hub size is a bit off, but fixable. So there was a guy on youtube w...

Re: Sway and oscillation
Yeah, I was amazed at how much it changed. With stock it was no problem at 30-35 and I think with the 37 toyos on otherwise stock it was fine at 30-35. But either the wheels or the the suspension made it highly inadvisable to run at 30-35 past about 45 mph on pavement. My bet is the suspension, but ...

Re: Going without TPMS Sensors
Third party TPMS sensors will work. You might need to clear and clear the rf list to get them to register, which requires a tool or dealer.
I’ve driven around with three sensors and had no problem with other systems. Just annoying idiot lights.

I have King 2.5s and it is more unstable at low pressure and high speed than stock. Running at 25 psi in toyo 37 MTs at 50+ mph stability control kicked in multiple times in a few miles until I slowed down. It's fine at 45-50 psi. Not saying this is what' going on, but maybe?

So I bent the bumper mount
I misjudged a step on metal masher and dented the bumper, and it shifted the right side of the bumper back and up a bit. I thought it had just shifted and I planned to loosen the mount and shift it back into place. But with the grille off and all the bolts loosened it wouldn't move and looking down ...

Could be worse. You could have found you had about a millimeter less clearance than you needed the expensive way.
But be careful that the door is fully open, particularly when backing up.

Re: Rough Country Dual Stabilizer Kit
Thuren’s article on the issue with a lot of stabilizer kits is worth reading. Oil froth doesn’t work well, and that is what you get when you lay most shocks on their side. The OEM isn’t bad, so of you are going to change to a 3rd part you need to be sure it won’t be worse.
