Fox ARS Steering Damper
Hey Winch Mob,
I am thinking of upgrading my steering stabilizer and noticed Thuren has a Fox 2.0 ARS Steering Damper Available for $450.00. I am wondering if this is that much better than the King version they also offer? Anyone have any feedback?
Thanks

Re: Oil Pressure Related Check Engine Light
Hey Gang, With the help of Gar (AMSOil Rep and registry inmate) and the folks over at AMSOil I got this figured out. Here is the email from customer service: I'm guessing it is a RAM with the 5.7 or 6.4. The fix is much more simple the fix is a new oil filter. · Ram with 5.7L and 6.4L = 2013 to curr...

Oil Pressure Related Check Engine Light
I recently started getting a check engine light and the code thrown is P1524-Oil Pressure-Out of range camshaft adv/Retard Disabled. From what I understand from my mechanic there are many causes for this but here is a short list: Oil pressure/oil pump is failing, bad oil pressure sensor at the camsh...

Re: Sway and oscillation
What is your tire pressure PMJouster? I didn't think it was a possibility but after KevinABQ mentioned tire pressure I went from 35 to 50 PSI and it made a big difference. Hopefully it is something as simple as this, otherwise that sounds dangerous! Stay safe!

Re: Sway and oscillation
Update: Installed the front and rear Thuren trackbars and I have to say my truck drives better than it ever has. Drove today in 40 mph crosswind gusts and it handled great considering. Well worth the cost!

Re: Sway and oscillation
Hey Keven in ABQ, LOL, if you are in ABQ proper, I am 30 miles south of you and would love to chat about your suspension sometime. I actually added pressure to my tires based on your post and it really improved the ride. Still has a little float but I am installing the Thuren Trackbars likely this n...

Re: Sway and oscillation
My 2015 sounds like it is replicating your trucks issues (still have the stock shocks). I just got off the phone with Chris at Thuren Fabrication and he recommended track bars front and rear as well as shocks and front springs (I do not want to lift my truck and need the stiffer rear springs as I to...

I have the Nanny Kill Switch, Sway-bar Disconnect, and the Locker Bypass. All work flawlessly and my install went without a hitch. Great work David! In my dealings with him he was incredibly responsive and is a model for vendors.

Re: 2019 Ram power waggon is it worth to buy one?
To me it is very much worth having the PW. I have a 2015 in a Tradesman package and my average mileage (combined) hovers around 13.5-14.5 depending on how much I press the skinny pedal. If I take a road trip and stay below 75 I can get up to 17 MPG. All this with 35 inch BFG KO2s. You need to check ...

Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?
I own a 2015 and have driven it for about 3 years now. Great truck, not perfect but honestly the most capable vehicle I have ever owned besides my Jeep Rubicon. While hunting elk this year my long time hunting partner was shocked at all the places we were able to go without even putting it in 4wd. T...

Diff and Transfer Case Oil Recommendations
Hopefully this hasn't been posted somewhere else? I searched but couldn't find anything.
In previous trucks I like to use Royal Purple Full Synthetic in my differentials and transfer case but haven't gotten around to changing the fluids in my 2015. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
MLC

Can you post a link to the specific camera you are using? This might be a cool addition to my rig.

I am curious, was your sticker price $54,830? That is what Top Speed is saying in this article: https://www.topspeed.com/cars/ram/2018- ... 82577.html

That is a sweet looking truck! I can't wait to see what it will look like with a set of 35s and some WK sliders.

Re: The Power Wagon Curse
He said another guy had tried the evening before but it didn't budge. I was extremely pleased that my pickup was able to get him going. Tore up the plastic on his bumper a bit but he said it was minimal compared to what it would have cost him to have a semi-tow truck get him out (said it would have ...

Re: The Power Wagon Curse
So this morning I was rolling for a bike ride and saw a Semi Truck stuck in an open field near my home. I decided to offer a little help and even though I did think the PW would budge the big beast we decided to try it out anyway. One tug and he was out! Holy crap, this truck continues to exceed my ...

How did/do the KM3s work in the snow? Tomorrow should be an interesting day in the Metro area. Nobody knows how to drive in the snow.

Re: Fed up!!! (More dura trash)
I put on 35x12.5 BFGoodrich KO2s on my 2015 and I am very happy. No rubbing at full lock or when the sway bar is disconnected. They are really only 34" tall as per BFGoodrich's website. The KO2s are a little heavier than the stock tires and like Low Sky says I get a little worse mileage around town ...

Re: Max tire size
I know many people here don't like the BFG KO2 but I have them in a 35/12.50r17 and I have been extremely happy. It was amazing how much quieter it was immediately after installation as well as less vibration (could never get the Duratracs balanced). I had to air down my spare to get it in there and...

Beautiful truck! Funny but I came over to the PW after driving a 16 Tacoma as well. On the road with 35s I get just about the same gas mileage as in my Taco with 265s. Go figure! Love the wagon.
