Did you have gaps like this while installing the ladder rack? If yes how did you fix it?

Quasi, did you have any problems putting your ladder rack on? I'm installing the same one on my 2006 and it's leaving a huge gap between my cap and bed. The bottom mounting plates come out level from my bed but my cap and bed slope down. I emailed you about this as well but I figured I'd reply on yo...
