Re: Another Government Wagon Auction

Here's some more auctions this week: A 2018 in Lake Havasu City, AZ with 76,921 miles. This truck is relatively low mileage, but it's like Swiss cheese with holes everywhere. They must have been having a heating problem, because they added custom louvers to the hood. It has a RamBox and it looks lik...

A 2017 in Augusta, AR with 107,618 miles. This one includes the law enforcement center console and a gun rack with fire exting...

Re: Another Government Wagon Auction

This week there are four auctions happening: A 2018 in Phoenix, AZ with 90,558 miles and it has an aftermarket grill with a light bar. It is missing the center console/jump seat and has holes in the body and tailgate where emergency lights were removed. Another 2018 in Phoenix, AZ with 100,263 miles...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

Breaking trail on the canyon road by my house during the spring thaw. The winter brings down lots of dead trees and there are still quite a few lingering snow drifts.

Shoveled a path so I could get through.

This is as far as I could make it. About a 1/4 mile of 3' deep snow drift between me and the major Forest Service road intersection. I'll come back in a couple weeks to explore more when my nephew comes to visit.

Re: Another Government Wagon Auction

A couple of 2019s up for auction this week:
  • Here's one in Columbia, SD. Missing the center console and high milage.
  • Next one in Moab, UT. Also missing the center console, used for law enforcement. Off road usage impacts (I wonder how that happened in Moab?).

Re: CEL P0740

P0740 relates to the torque converter clutch slipping. TCC lock up usually only occurs at cruising speed, so it might feel like it's shifting normally at lower speeds, but the final locking of the torque converter isn't happening. At cruising speed you should see an additional drop of 200-300 RPM wh...

Re: Another Government Wagon Auction

Here's a 2020 in Gila Bend, AZ. Missing the center console and has high milage. It doesn't look like the hook was ever installed on the winch.

Here's a 2018 in Winnie, TX. Has a RamBox, needs a transmission, five pending recalls and is missing the center console.

Re: Abel Components Nanny Kill Switch® - $79

Well a new development has come up on the 5th gen. trucks. Ram has issued a recall to reprogram the ABS module. Once the reprogramming is updated, it renders the throttle nanny override portion of the NKS useless. I’ve had a couple customers contact me and confirm that their Nanny Kill Switch was wo...

Re: Mud flaps

If you do serious off roading, I vote ☑️ NO TO MUD FLAPS, because they'll get ripped off on the first major obstacle. Even if you don't do off roading, if the mud flaps are too long and you back up into a pile of snow or mud, that could push the mud flap up against the tire rotating backwards and ri...

My system bypasses all the factory wiring and comes complete with a new harness. No need to repair/replace the sway bar or locker connectors.

Anyone know of anyone in Canada who owns a 2005 Power Wagon. I’m in Manitoba and I feel like I’m the only one….. lone survivor.
I've sold a couple of my kits for 2005s to customers in Langdon, AB and Millarville, AB. According to this thread, there were 282 built for Canada in 2005.

Here's a 2019 in Montrose, CO. with a RamBox. Missing the winch, lots of damage inside and out from law enforcement equipment that was removed, not to mention high milage. Not bad if you're looking for a trail ready beater.

Allstate Gear shows that they have the complete carrier assembly with spider gears. AAM #40048164 (replaces AAM #40047279). If you need the locker actuator, it's available separately, AAM #40160105.

I went to grab my jumper cables from my rear under seat storage area the other day and found them swimming in water. Looking around for forensic evidence of where the water came from, I found a water stain coming down from the power sliding rear window track. The track itself still had some wa...
