Re: Extreme Country or Fun country
Had a set of the older fun country II's. They were awesome. Thinking of trying the extreme countrys myself.

Re: Shell Rotella T6
I have ran the 5w40 rotella T6 and Delo synthetic before with no issues. I just ordered Rotella T6 5w30 multi vehicle, it is a new version for gas or diesel vehicles. It is only available online from napa or oreilly's.

I have the same tires and size. Run mine 45 front 40 rear. Rides good. Then in winter I'll usually go 40 front 35 rear.

Has anyone run the newer Carli linear rate spring? I think it is a diesel spring also. How does it compare to the thuren?

Re: Thinking underneath the box, winch mount idea????
You can mount a winch between the frame rails where the spare tire goes. Mount the fair lead to the winch plate and have it come out where the licence plate would normally be. Lay the winch on its side for more clearance if it is a taller winch with an integrated solenoid. Can easily be fabbed up wi...

Re: Duratracs have to go, need options.
Pro comp, Mickey Thompson, Dick cepek and Mastetcraft are all made by Cooper. Should all relatively be the same tire. I believe the STT, MTZ, AND PRO COMP MT are all the same carcass. Same for st maxx, fun country, and atz. Toyo tires seem to ride and balance the best. Sent from my SM-G920V using Ta...

Re: Duratracs have to go, need options.
I have theCooper stt pros. Very tough tire. Aggressive and a tad noisy but nothing unbearable. They ride very well for an mt. I've also had good luck with dick cepek fun country tires if you are looking for an all terrain. Good in snow, wear very well also and are made by Cooper. Sent from my SM-G92...

Re: BD throttle sensitivity booster
My 2012 lags a lot. I think it is a combo of the throttle mapping and transmission tuning (torque management). The truck is great except for that. Hate the factory tuning or settings.

BD throttle sensitivity booster
Anyone here ever use this thing or have any experience with it? BD diesel 1057732 throttle position sensitivity booster Saw it in the 4wheel off road magazine today. It remaps the throttle sensitivity and is all plug and play. Can be set to stock, 50% and 100% increase sensitivity. Should theoretica...

Re: Thuren 2" or 3" coils?
I am in the same dilemma here. I also have a 2012 and am thinking of doing 2 inch coils, overland shocks, and rear air bags with the cradles. Have 35s now and they clear just fine. Next set will be 37s.

Nice. I was wanting to put 2 inch thuren springs on mine as well. Are those 35s you have? Is the front level with the back?

Re: ABS BS
Try taking the sensor out of the hub and clean all the rust out with a small screwdriver. Then blow all the debris out with airgun. Then pump some grease in there and reinstall the sensor.

Magnaflow 22 or 18 inches are popular as well as the flowmaster 50hd. I think I will try the flowmaster when my stock one rusts out.

Hardest part is getting the wheel bearing out, especially if you have snowy winters. Mine was rusted in there good. Might be a good time to replace the hub if they are original.

Had my drivers side front axle u joint fail on mine at 30k miles. Same symptoms. Not that hard to fix your self if you have a press and a BFH.....and a day to work on it.

If you want to lift it 2 inches I would get a set of thuren 3 inch coils. Much better than a spacer and not much more money. That's a better way to go if it was me.

Does the bullydog take away the torque management? These trucks don't seem reponsive enough in the lower rpm band.

37s and hydraulic assist
Interested in how many of you guys are running a hydraulic ram assist with your 37s. I'm interested in switching to 37s when my 35s wear out and I've always been told you should run a hydraulic assist when going that big. I know you can get steering gear box plumbed for it in the aftermarket. How mu...
