Re: General grabber at2?
Hands down the Goodyear Duratrac's have been an amazing tire for me in the snow/slush we have been getting in Northern Utah. For me it was a toss up between the Duratrac's and the Toyo AT2's.

Re: Windshield Wiper Issues
I have the same problem. Dealer cleaned inside the motor and the contacts and they worked good for a week or so. He said that moister could be getting inside and causing it to act up. I need to take mine apart and try to clean it up again and then seal the unit up good.

Re: Serv 4WD/ RR Light
When I first went to this dealer I told them of the troubles I had had at the last dealer. The service guy said he had 2 guys there that actually knew a lot about power wagons and one in particular was the only one he wanted working on my truck. It took him a while to actually find the problem and w...

Re: Serv 4WD/ RR Light
I have the truck back now and the set-up the dealer did is great. All stock wires are still there and he just tapped into the ones needed to do resistors where needed. No lights and the smartbar has been fooled into thinking the lockers are still connected. Lockers lock almost instantly now. He put ...

Re: Serv 4WD/ RR Light
Well the way the dealer is talking about doing it the sway bar will act like normal and i will have to be in 4lo to make it work. He is going to run wire to make the smartbar think that the lockers are good but they wont be able to actually do anything with the knob or smartbar. He will the run anot...

Does anyone know if there are stock looking rockers switches we can put in the empty spaces we have next to the swaybar disconnect?

Re: Serv 4WD/ RR Light
by doing what is posted in that link, it still uses the rear locker sensor correct? Sorry but Im not too knowledgeable on this system. He is telling me that what he wants/needs to do is bypass the sensor in the rear diff and make it not even be part of the smartbar system anymore.

Re: Serv 4WD/ RR Light
Now the dealership is saying my wires are good and that the rear locker sensor has gone out and that I either need to buy a new locker set-up for the rear or I can have him hard wire the front and rear lockers and have 2 toggle switches next to my sway bar disconnect. he shows power going to the rea...

Re: Serv 4WD/ RR Light
When lights are not flashing then everything works fine. When the light is flashing then the rear locker will still lock up but it wont show locked. It will not lock the front when flashing because it doesnt think the rear is locked. Dealership is now saying that that when i had the plug replaced on...

Serv 4WD/ RR Light
So I took the truck to a different dealership here in Utah for this on going issue. They want to replace the smartbar even though I have had it replaced already (18 months ago when another dealership said this was my problem). They are telling me that when the light is on that the rear locker isnt g...

Re: Bad TRE
The T-style system uses a straight tie rod to connect the steering knuckles and Y-link design connects the knuckles through two separate bars, correct? So if my 05 has the T-style then its safe to say a previous owner at some point did the swap and for parts I need to look at the 08.5 set-up?

Bad TRE
I recently started having a popping sound from the front end when turning the steering wheel. Took it to the shop and they told me that most of my TRE were bad or going bad. They game me a reasonable price to fix it with Moog parts but wanted to know what parts you all would use if you were replacin...

You could build a mount that would go into your receiver and you could just put it on as needed. I have seen this done many times.

I had 35-12.5-15 on my Jeep Wrangler a few years back. They wear ok and not great if you do a lot of highway driving. Offroad they are great . I sold my jeep before i wore down the tires but you should be able to get 20K on the mileage without any problems if you get the street version. IMO, I would...

Vehicle Shippers
Has anyone had any experience shipping a vehicle through one a of hundreds of companies you can find on the internet. The USAF is moving me from Texas to Utah next May and I'm looking for someone to transport my PW for me. I would drive it but I have another truck that I will be driving there.
