Re: 2008 PW 285/75/17 VS 35/12.5/17
I recently found a 35x10.5x17 tire that I'm going to try out. They're not too expensive and have good reviews. The Kenda Klever

Re: 2008 Winch repair/rewire help
I have that bus bar, I was taking everything apart and cleaning the connections at the time. That's the info I needed though, I appreciate it.
Thank you

Re: Dual Batteries, dual alternator 6.4L swap
Thanks Ace, I'm looking forward to what it will come out like. I'm wanting to tune it for torque and not as much HP so hopefully I'll come out around 450whp and 500tq Got my passenger battery tray on the mail, now I've got to decide what to do for a temporary intake until I get my SRT10 hood. I also...

2008 Winch repair/rewire help
OK, So I pulled my winch the other day so that I could go about removing the LVI and TPS. When I purchased my truck the winch never functioned as the previous owner said the LVI was out. My main cables from the battery were already removed and zip tied out of the way. First I know where the ground g...

Re: Dual Batteries, dual alternator 6.4L swap
The 4500/5500 engines are different than the 2500/3500 engines. Do some research. 45/55 come with stainless exhaust manifolds, sodium filled exhaust valves and a different cam profile. I'm aware they use the BGE block as well as the truck heads are what they call "big gas" heads. They're similar eng...

Re: Anatomy of a SmartBar
I came here looking for the seals as well. I read through the factory manual and it only states that it's a sealed non serviceable unit. I'm going to keep looking and see what I can find. Has anyone else out there attempted a seal replacement.

2008 PW 285/75/17 VS 35/12.5/17
I'm currently in the debate on which set of tires to buy. I really prefer the old school tall skinny look but I'm concerned I won't have enough clearance with the 285/75 tires. Looking for some pictures of each on 3rd gen trucks to get an idea.
Thanks,
Jeff

Dual Batteries, dual alternator 6.4L swap
<t>Greetings, <br/> <br/> My truck is quickly approaching 200k miles and I've been debating how to move forward once I need a new engine. I've got plans to add the passenger side battery tray along moving my intake (I've got plans for that as well) however I'm looking into purchasing a 6.4L Hemi fro...

2008 Correct TPMS sensors
Seems like I'm doing most of the posting here lately..... I've got an '08 PW G56 and when I purchased it the previous owner had told me one of the TPMS sensors was the incorrect one. It's got the pull through style not the screw in style. I also purchased the 2008 FSM and it specifically states to n...

Re: 2008 Locker selector switch
I appreciate all the comments guys, I bought my truck with the intention of never getting rid of it. I couldn't sleep with myself knowing I bought a new truck and nearly 100k. I bought a 2016 2500 with a Cummins in '15 and had nothing but problems with it, fought and fought and fought with Chrysler ...

Re: 115 v outlet
In this case if it's a "bed specific" option I would imagine you would need the factory harness for the "RamBox" bed to get it to work with the factory inverter. I would imagine the in cab harness has the connection for the rear outlet option

Re: Flashing locker lights
According to the FSM the locker flashing light could be caused by a bad/faulty magnet, smart bar connection issues or. I've had this issue on my '08 since purchasing. I would suggest doing like most have and eliminating the smart bar entirely and using the Abel Component kit. I'm planning on putting...

Re: 115 v outlet truck bed
Likely won't be hooked into the factory inverter. However getting the factory outlet then installing it and running it to an aftermarket inverter. I've done this before and it works well. I've attempted "adding an outlet" to a factory inverter for a customers build (they wanted an additional outlet ...

Hello all, Been lurking around the community for a while now and just recently found my unicorn. 2008 QC G56 Power Wagon. I'm trying to get everything fixed as far as factory items and am curious what anyone has done to fix the switch cover/layer that wears off on the switches. My locker switch, lig...

Soon to own 2008 QC 6 speed
Greetings to everyone, Next weekend I'll be getting in a plane to go pick up my "new to me" 2008 Power Wagon quad cab 6 speed. I've been looking for a long time for the right truck (manual transmission is a requirement for me). It's got a power sunroof, Infiniti sound system, spray in bed liner and ...
