My 1978 power wagon has a charging system problem. I've replaced alternator and voltage regulator. The battery two times still dosent charge. I'm getting frustrated and curious to how else has had this problem and how they solved it

Hi there I just became a owner of a 1978 power wagon this is the second one I've owned. First was a 91 this one I got off the side of a mountain and love it. Look forward to meeting everyone.
