Re: Finally got a PW. :)
I called and talked to Aaron at Thuren, and he said 2015 power wagons start with about a +56 offset and that a +18 to +20 would be optimal. He thought I could probably get away with up to a 0 offset, but it would get awfully close to the front of the wheel well. Next question... where's the best pla...

Re: Finally got a PW. :)
Thanks for the response. I can add a bit of detail which might help you steer me a bit better. I never air down. ... ever. I live out in the flat land of the upper midwest. I wouldn't know what to do with a hill if I ever saw one. I want strong wheels though as you mention, mainly so I can hit 90 in...

Finally got a PW. :)
I happened upon this 2015 with 28k miles for 40k, and just had to have it. http://i.imgur.com/DtwcZhMl.jpg Now comes the mods... and I'll need some help from the knowledgeable folks here for that. Wheels - First, let me just get the fact that you'll hate me and think I'm stupid out of the way. A gro...

Re: Carli performance 2.0 system
Is there no company that understands what it means to take care of their customers anymore? I was going to wait for a carli suspension for my new power wagon, but this has got me thinking I'll just go with whatever they can stuff under there at the dealership. That email response shows me that they ...

Ordering a 2016 PW... any and all help.
Fine gents, I'm putting in an order for a 2016 PW laramie within the next week or so. Some things I know I want, other things I'm not sure of. Mainly I'm making this post to request the specifics that I don't know that I should want or not want. In short, help me avoid making serious mistakes on thi...

Re: Like to drive them, don't know crap about them. Help me
I'm a built not bought guy but I would love to be able to drop off my truck on a Monday and pick it up on a Friday ready to go kick ass. I wish the wagon was more of a speed demon for hunting, I love the ol' high-speed tracking. I need the wagon for what it was built for and unfortunately speed ain...

That Thuren stuff is pretty incredible too. I think it will come down to what builder I get hooked up with, and what they are confident in doing.

Re: Like to drive them, don't know crap about them. Help me
Adding 6" lift to a PW will give you a total of about 8", because the factory includes about 2" lift as stock. KORE has/had hand laid fiberglass Baja fenders that you could buy direct, don't know if they still sell those but worth a call. Once your body hits, you will already be dragging your skid ...

Oh, one more thing: Since I'm a complete rookie here... how many posts before I get to just have them go live instead of wait for moderator approval? I'm missing a bit of back and forth here, since quite a few posts happen before moderation approves. ;) Thanks again for all the help fellas, I'm look...

90 MPH in fields............I call B.S. Will you be going with the rows or across? If it is pasture land you have a death wish as you can't see or negotiate every rut, hole, etc. You will be either dead or picking up your front end 200 feet behind you. Enjoy the repairs and medical bills. Be...

Like to drive them, don't know crap about them. Help me?
Hello fellas. Looking for a bit of preemptive help here. I own 3 businesses, have two kids, and live in rural South Dakota. This means I am short on time, and have the need to drive through nasty mud in the summer and 2-3ft snow with 6ft drifts in the winter. I recently went from this: http://www.gr...
