Re: Resonator delete
First mod I did on my 2014 was the mufflex “drop” in muffler replacement. I wasn’t satisfied with the change in sound, so I had a muffler shop remove the resonator and weld on a dump pipe. The dump pipe lasted about 8 years and rusted off. I had a replacement pipe welded on but this time I had it ru...

Re: Mud flaps
I did not install mud flaps on my 2014. The rocks, gravel, and salt did some serious paint damage to the lower rockers and also peeled off the line-x on the front of my WK sliders. I installed the rubber OEM RAM mud flaps on my new 2024. No real off roading yet, so TBD effectiveness. So far, they’ve...

Re: Abel Components Nanny Kill Switch® - $79
Well a new development has come up on the 5th gen. trucks. Ram has issued a recall to reprogram the ABS module. Once the reprogramming is updated, it renders the throttle nanny override portion of the NKS useless. I’ve had a couple customers contact me and confirm that their Nanny Kill Switch was w...

Re: Tire pressure monitors
What year is your truck? If it’s ‘14-19’ then an AEV Procal will work & it’s just a simple OBD II plug in. I had one for my ‘14 & it worked great…TPMS settings, speedo, tire diameter, gears, highs & fogs, seat belt chime. If you have a 19+, the new trucks have a canbus security protocol protection t...

https://linkrmobile.com/ So it is a GPS tracker. F’ng dealer didn’t disclose it. Their sales paperwork doesn’t mention it, nor did they offer me the option to keep it/ pay for the recovery service, or remove it. I found this guy online that found the same one in his Toyota after the battery kept dy...

Anyone know what this is?
Hey old-timers: I was looking under the steering column of my new ‘24 PW , what a rats nest of wires, damn. Anyway, I noticed this very not-factory looking connector harness under there right up front, hanging low enough it hits my leg. I think it’s a dealer installed GPS theft tracking device. Noti...

Re: 39s no lift
I HATE DOR. Wish they all fucking die. They still owe me $900 or the steering linkage for my old PW. Ordered the steering linkage. They never sent it. Charge back on my Capitol One credit card was denied because of the wording on the bill of sale. Read the fine print with those assholes. I ...

Re: Thinking about buying my old PW back.
It’s a 20yr old truck with a blown engine & who knows what else is bad. I guess it depends if you’re planning on doing all the work yourself & how much time you have to dedicate to the project. As a gage, I just traded in my ‘14 PW with 50k miles w/ about $20k in mods for about $23k… I’d say maybe $...

They fit BTW Rubbing? We won't discuss this topic. 39's with stock fender flares are not for people who ask about rubbing.  I love them though. It creates the stuffed look. Just don't like the price of the KM3's. I have my receipt from when I got them from Discount Tire and they li...

Damn, beautiful!! So my PW trained eyes  sees a high clearance bumper set, front truss, AEV wheels to get proper backspacing for the 39’s, Thuren (or DOR) front track bar & PSC high mount steering stabilizer, not sure about coils or shocks but I see a SS braided line left of the diff, and a pa...

Wow, 39’s? Rubbing? Trimming? Move axle fwd? I put 37.5’s on my ‘14 & had rubbing at full lock. Rubbing went away after installing the full Theuren/King 2.5’s kit.

Funny this topic keeps coming up. I never noticed a leak in my ‘14 other than forgetting to close the rear window after a few stinky bird hunting trips  When I traded it in last month, the dealer did me a solid and unloaded all my gear and transferred it to the new truck…he said there was 2 sha...

Sweet! I installed a RAM mount on my new ‘24 in the sunglass holder above the Uconnect w/ an articulated carbon fiber arm & the USB powered mag-safe charger cradle so I could do things like monitor angles etc. The Uconnect had off-road pages, it’s got the basics, similar to a wrangler. How much is t...
