Re: Parasitic Drain?
From what I've read for your year truck the cabin compartment node (CCN) is another term for the body control module and is part of, or built into the instrument cluster. I understand that you have a minor draw, but what are the symptoms of the problem you're having? When does it occur? How long do...

Re: Parasitic Drain?
So I have eliminated the following,
ITM: instrument cluster: 8mA
MULTFNCT SW: steering wheel controls: 1mA
WIN/WCM: 1-2mA
CLK MOD: radio power: 1-2mA
So that leaves the CCN and I can't seem to find where the fuck this thing is located.

Re: Parasitic Drain?
Thanks for everyone's input! So far with the iod fuse pulled I am still getting a 10mA draw, not sure if that's normal. But doesn't seem to be coming from any of the fuses nor any aftermarket stuff. So that leaves 50mA off of the iod fuse. With everything sleeping I draw 1-2 mA off the radio, 1-2 of...

Re: Parasitic Drain?
I'm using a fluke 87v multimeter and measure after letting the truck rest for half hour. So I narrowed it down to Fuse m13.

Re: TC W3 fuel additive
That's what I thought. There is a group on a Facebook power wagon page that are testing it out a say they are noticing a difference. Just a bunch of bull shit.Reloaderguy wrote:I did it for 3K miles of open highway and saw no changes what so ever. Total pain in the ass too. 1oz per five gallons of TC-W3

Re: TC W3 fuel additive
Fully aware of the diesel application but people are adding it to gas engines and making claims about hp, mpg increase. There is 50 pages on the LS forums talking about these claims as well as bobs the oil guy.

TC W3 fuel additive
Is anyone running TC-W3 2 stroke marine oil as an additive in their fuel. It is supposed to increase mileage and smooth out idling. Idk seems like snake oil too me. Anybody have any experience with this?

Re: air filters
Had way to many issues in the past with oiled filters, even dusted my 08hemi with a AFE oiled filter. K&n are horrible for over oiling also, gets over your mass flow sensor and causes problems. I'll take the .5mpg hit you may get over a dusted engine anytime. Stick with paper filters.

Re: Vararam CAI?
I've had bad luck in the past with oiled filters, but they were k&n, probably would of been better of using a screen door. I'm basically looking at Vararam because it opens up the passenger fender for secondary battery. Unless someone knows of a better place to mount a battery. Would there be enough...

Can you get a dry filter element with it? Not very keen on oiled ones.

Re: 2013 PowerWagon looking to lift
I had the bds lift on my 2011. Ripped it off after 2000km because it was spine jarring. Kit is still sitting in my garage.
I replaced everything with Thuren suspension and I am extremely impressed. You can build a little as you go if you want.

Re: Vararam CAI?
I bought the Vararam for my 2012 because of the dual battery capability. I live in Edmonton Alberta and haven't had any issues with the snow. It doesn't seal on the top because of the hood configuration so maybe that's why it doesn't suck in all that snow. I am still happy with it. Do you do any de...

Re: NEW GUY chasing death wobble
I had death wobble after only 5000km after installing a dual stabilizer kit from bds. After looking into this I removed both and found that they had about 1/2" of play. The oem stabilizers are better then these dually setups. But for a little more I went with carlis dampener. They seperate the gas f...

Re: Vararam CAI?
I drive through tons of snow so the vararam is out of the question. Any other intakes that will fit with a auxiliary battery. I might have to move it to the box.

Vararam CAI?
Anyone running the vararam on there trucks? If so how is the filtration? I'm a little concerned with the lack of filtration with an oiled filter compared to dry. I'm adding a second battery and my current CAI won't work

Re: Best dual battery setup
That's awesome info on the wire sizing. Thanks. 3/0 should be plenty for the length I'm looking at. Do you know the temp rating on that table for the wire jackets?

Re: Best dual battery setup
So further investigation the blue sea solenoid is rated at 500 amps continuous, 750 amps at 5 minutes, and 1450 amps for 30sec cranking. This should be more then adequate for everyone's needs.

Thanks for everyone's input. I will most likely go with the highest rating solenoid or acr I can find. Does anyone know what the solenoid on the winch is?
