Re: 2013 oem shocks
I wanted to put the bilstien shocks on from 8 lug but I think the shocks are longer when they are collapsed which might mess up articulation. I heard the 5100s were stiffer as well.

2013 oem shocks
Are the front shocks on the 2012 pw the same as the 2013 pw? I have a 2013 pw and I have called 10 dealers that cannot find a front oem shock for the 2013 pw, they can pull up the rear shock. I was thinking of just ordering shocks for a 2012 since the suspension should be the same. I was going to ge...

Re: Oem 2013 front shock
Just for info the dealer can't look up the shock for the 2013. They showed me and there is no part number and nothing showing. It says to call Chrysler. Very weird I wonder what's going on with that.

Re: upper control arm bolt installation
The bolt doesn't move the whole axle moves the bolt into the frame I could see where it was rubbing, it was shiny with no rust so it just happened after the dealer f`d it up

Re: upper control arm bolt installation
I switched the upper control arm bolts around it was easy. The lower control arm bolts were loose no where near 200 ft lbs where they should be. I hope the alignment isn't off too bad because the bolts where loose where the adjustment cams are.

upper control arm bolt installation
I noticed the dealer put my upper control arm bolts with the threads facing in and it looks like the thread part of the bolt is hitting the frame when the suspension is flexed. does anyone know which way they are supposed to go? the dealer replaced my front axle and messed just about everything up. ...

Re: dealership does horrible work
Truck is back at the dealer to get the actuator replaced. They said it will take two full days to replace. I'm thinking it should only take one day. Has anyone had an actuator replaced and how long did it take at the dealer. They told me they know how to do it but if they did it would have been done...

Re: dealership does horrible work
The same dealer left a 1 3/8 inch wrench under the hood after replacing fan clutch. These guys really don't care. If my truck was not under warranty no way would I take it to the dealer. You need to do it yourself if you want it done right.

dealership does horrible work
Had my truck at the dealer for a month because of a front pinion seal leak for the third time. They blamed it on me offroading the truck too much which I do. Its a damn power wagon and its made to go off road. I drive trucks offroad for a living and have never had a truck with a pinion leak(all ford...

Re: Pinion seal leak
They contacted Chrysler and that's what they told them to do. They must think its bad because its the third one that's gone bad in 28,000 miles. Someone mentioned on this thread that the proper way to replaced it is take everything apart. They haven't been doing that. Its been at the dealer over two...

Pinion seal leak
I have had the front pinion seal go out for its third time now. The dealer is replacing the entire front axel different and axel housing. I feel that Thierry mechanic just doesn't know how to replace a pinion seal the right way because it was the same mechanic every time. My truck has been at the de...

lockers and sway bar lights blinking
I was driving down the highway at 65 mph and noticed all of the locker lights and swaybar lights were blinking very fast and then all of a sudden all of the lights went off. It did the same exact thing again within a few seconds. It kind of seemed like the system was resetting itself or something. I...

Re: damaged wheels
I don't have a wheel shop close. Im going to wet sand again, polish, then wax. I think I can get it a little better than it is now. I wish I took a before picture because the wheel looked horrible. It was completely dull.
