Re: 2014-17 tire size consensus
Replaced my stock tires with 35X12.5 KO2s. The tires have not rubbed the arms or swaybar, however, I have not yet been in a full articulation situation to test the rubbing while turning. As for the tires themselves, they are absolutely better than the Duratracs by every measure important to me (ride...

Re: BFG KO2 Thoughts

Re: BFG KO2 Thoughts
Went with the 35s over the 315s because I was limited by what the dealer had in stock since it was a swap out. The EBC rotors and brakes have been a welcome addition for Atlanta traffic. I went with the Extra Duty brake pads, but if I towed more often the Truck Yellowstuff Sport pads would probably ...

Re: BFG KO2 Thoughts
The Duratracs on my truck were replaced at 5,100 miles with the KO2s. The tires could not be road force balanced, so I took the opportunity to switch to 35x12.5x17. Ninety (90) percent of my driving is on paved roads and half of that is on interstates in the Atlanta area. The ten (10) percent of my ...

Re: 70MPH Vibration on 2016 PW
My stock Duratrac's had the exact same feeling, but from 68-75mph. When I took it in to the dealer, they said two (2) of my tires had excessive road force (out of round). The most extreme of them was 95lbs of road force which was the highest they had ever measured. They replaced all four (4) tires w...

Re: Thuren UPDATE for 2014+ PW's
I have spoken to Thuren and AEV, and it seems for PW owners there are many compromises. Neither was designed for our 2014+ vehicles, and in the case of AEV we have to switch to the stiffer diesel springs limiting ride quality and articulation, Please Note: Installation of this suspension system on a...

Re: AEV Ram!
I recently ordered a 2016 PW. The truck will primarily be used more for long weekend east coast camping and travel, and as my DD. Since most of the camping requires a traversing a fair amount of fire roads, I have been considering the AEV RAI w/ Prefilter. Looking at the AEV website though, I cannot...

Re: 2014 PW Edmunds Tech Specs & 1st Drive Review Results
I also have a 2014 PW on order, and first off I'd like to state that this forum is a wealth of information with the right balance of knowledge and perspectives. Rarely, have I read a thread where I thought I could give meaningful insight beyond what the original posters have provided. My background ...
