Re: Abel Components Nanny Kill Switch® - $79
I found out this week that the nanny's name is Karen. One of my customers referred to his truck being in "Karen Mode". My wife is named Karen and she has the same effect! In her defense, she had back surgery and her neck fused. So I will only use this switch for the COMPLETE absence o...

Re: Tundra to Power Wagon - Moab, UT
Welcome! It will be interesting to hear your thoughts on how the two compare. I had deathwobble when my truck was new, because I went with some used 37" tires. I had them balanced and rotated and it went away. I have some some SERIOUS battle getting rid of it on Jeeps in the past, however. Lots if g...

Do they stay close to their advertised prices or is there a lot of stuff added on?
Around here(Las Vegas) they either add substantial fees on the back end or offer peanuts for your trade-in.

Nice! What part of CA?
I was between L.A. and Santa Barbara recently and didn't see another Powerwagon in 4 days. People did seem a little more respectful on the freeway though...

Re: What did you do to your PW this week?
Finally installed my locker bypass. Works great! Figured out why my headlight was bouncing around... ...the bolt behind the grille was missing. The other side was finger loose. Now the lower mount is broken. Removed the boot from my airbox(while I had it out to mount the box for the locker bypass). ...

Maybe on IG?

...I used the AEV Procal to change the gears to 4.88 since they dont list 5.13. Although I've heard this does nothing, I figured it couldnt hurt. I remember reading on their forum at some point that the 5.13 switch position listed for their Jeep Procal also works with the Ram Procal, it was just an...

Re: The "Real Reliability"
I have an 18' that JUST hit 13,000 miles. These are my similar experiences 1. Front locker rarely worked, needed to be modified to work aftermarket. Mine isn't very consistent either. I bought a control box but haven't installed or looked at the connector. Reverse seems to help at times. I used it a...

Re: Geolandar X-AT?
Keep us posted. Some friends LOVE Hokemamas but they have lighter vehicles.
As far as KO2s, I bought one brand new 37"(load range D) to go with 3 used ones and at 10,000 miles it's showing some significant wear with only light towing. Not sure if it would have had a long life if I stuck with them.

Re: 37s with overland extreme questions
I don't think you can go wrong with the Extreme Kit or anything Thuren. But if your truck is newer, you aren't trying to correct an issue caused by worn suspension, and you don't have a heavy load mounted above your bed, then I would spend my money a little differently. With a Roughly $2,500 budget...

Re: 37s with overland extreme questions
one of the main concearns is if ill end up with high speed tire vibration that i cant get rid of. since ive never had 37s, are they more prone to vibration and can they be spin balanced and road forced with conventional methods like a 35" tire ? also ive still got atleast two more years of payments...

Re: Making new tire & wheel plunge
A narrower rim causes more sidewalk bulge and creates more retention of the bed, and more tire compliance to terrain. A wider rim causes a more natural contact patch of the tire tread to the ground. It’s all in what you want it to do. I run 37x12.5r17 on my 8.0” wheels and I like them. They’ve perf...

Re: Fender work on 4th gen
Just ordered the same exact wheel/tire combo(except they are calling them +20 offset, and in bronze). Not sure if they fit any different on an 18' but this is a great write up!
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Seat Height and headroom issues.
Hell, I'm 6'2" and headroom is tight. Something about the cabs make them seem smaller. My guess is no aftermarket seat rails, so a custom rail would need to be be fabbed, likely at considerable expense I have found a fab shop by me "FFP Customs Frazier's Fabrication & Performance", but they are bac...

Re: Add me to the Duratrac hate list.
The punctures when not a trashed side wall are always under the fish skin between the tread for some reason. Its strange how other sites like TFL truck think they are great tires. It cant just be they don't work on a PW, come on...My wifes 4 Runner came with Nittos and they were not a bad tire at a...

No front locker... just a limited slip. No swaybar disconnect. I think the Ford will appeal to more customers since you can't mention "Powerwagon" without someone mentioning "diesel". It just shows how many people don't get it. Also with Ford and GM coming out with bigger and better gassers I can on...
