Nope not worth driving to Albuquerque but thanks for the offer! And thanks for the heads up on the lock. Ordering one tonight.
Planning on just ordering a cheap steel OEM rim from Hubcap Haven.

Re: Missing Spare Tire
Likely explanation. Noticed it when I went to attach my bike rack. Truck is kept in a garage at home and in a parking garage during the day. I always back in so the bumper is almost touching, it must have been a pain to lower.

Missing Spare Tire
Has anyone ever had their spare tire disappear? The attachment link is not down like someone stole it. And it is up high where you would expect it to have enough pressure on the spare that it wouldn’t bounce off...seems strange! Any ideas other than a considerate thief? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn....

Sliders and active tune mass module
I live with it and frankly barely notice it anymore. I have not disabled/tuned the AMM. I would compare the feel to rough asphalt. Overall no complaints since the install and would do it again.

Re: Sliders and active tune mass module
After several days with the sliders installed I have found the same response from the AMMs, especially while braking. It hasn’t bothered me enough to unplug them...yet [emoji51]

Re: WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?
Finally installed the sliders this past weekend. Passenger side was smooth, driver side was a pain as everyone has mentioned. Did it myself with the help of a floor jack and two stands. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191002/57fca0e9ec55ff1cd0f8ebef10b602f0.jpg In terms of placement I was limited...

Re: Drove away from an Accident
Update- 7K plus of damage based upon initial estimates. Guy that caused the accident didn’t pay his premiums (he did have a card showing insurance coverage so I suggest everyone- call the other parties insurance while they and the police are present since the police can’t do anything after the fact)...

Re: Sliders and active tune mass module
Mine are sitting in the garage waiting to be installed when I have a free moment. Anyone else having this issue? Do you notice any difference when you are driving the truck now that you have unplugged them? Thanks!

Re: WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?
My sliders showed up right before hunting season [emoji51]. 400+ lbs of diamond plated protection to be installed post September. Natalie at WK did a great job of communicating through the modification process for the 2019s. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190908/e8937b4498c9d93655b139b7afdf1374....

Drove away from an Accident
Driving up I-25 today from Monument, CO with our new “to us” boat (like had just handed the guy a check 30 minutes before) traffic started to slow and so I started to slow. A silver Tahoe came speeding past on my left, applied their brakes but to late to fully stop before taking out the vehicle in f...

Re: WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?
Heads up 2019 owners-just heard from John and Natalie at WK and the 2019s have a noise and vibration damper which interferes with their front mounting plate. They are working on adjusting their design but unless one wants to move the damper and void that part of their warranty (any comments on perce...

Re: 37 Tire in a 7' Garage?
I should have emphasized “not”. I know it is off but I was hopeful. TankerZac your post from March of 17 where you said 35 Toyo RTs cleared a 6’10” garage gave me hope. 2 for 2 on not fitting, not looking promising.

37 Tire in a 7' Garage?
When I test drove the PW my wife commented that the tires were too small (she is from the south and grew up in a truck family). You all say just go to 37s...I want to make the jump. I do have one concern about the vehicle height w/37s. Our garage door is 7' with a little plastic lip that I am willin...

Re: WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?
Haha- Nicely put Will. Step stool plus sliders acting as a step should allow my flatland parents and in-laws (from Tallahasee- Will I think you are from there) all over 70, to climb up into the truck rather than me picking them up. [emoji106] if they can’t then we have to take an additional car, 6 s...

Re: WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?
Yes the diamond plate edge. Wasn’t sure if the extra inch was an overhang or just a wider plate. That picture is helpful.

Re: WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?
Thanks everyone for the input and perspective. I didn’t know adding an inch was an option. Do they roll the edge for safety or is it just a hard cut edge? I too am interested in pictures for this option. Since the diamond plate is removable, that is the way I am leaning. Easier to take off than to a...

WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?
For those that have the WK sliders- How stable are they when you use them as a step to get into the truck? Can kids and grandparents easily use them as steps? Also how are they when they get wet or muddy? Since they are round I am concerned that the kids and grandparents will slip when they use them...

New CO PW Owner
Just placed an order for a 2019 PW today. Now begins the waiting game for it to be built and delivered...This forum definitely helped sway me towards the truck. Thanks for all the discussions/info!
