Re: Engine Oil Temperature
When I was under Peter's 2019 PW. It looked like there is an oil to coolant heat exchanger at the filter. No kidding...maybe I should have waited on the 2019s... I brought my 3500lb pop-up home today to give it a good cleaning before it gets even hotter outside. Since I had it hooked up I decided t...

Re: Engine Oil Temperature
Update:
Drove several hundred miles through Southern California and into the 29 Stumps area loaded with ~500 pounds of gear in the bed. Air temps routinely in the 90 - 100 degree range.
The highest the oil temps hit was 234 degrees.
Truck has ~9K miles, pretty pleased thus far.

Re: Engine Oil Temperature
Thanks for the information everyone, I'll relax a bit. Will change the oil this weekend and see what the temps look like. Got some trips to a few hot and high areas this summer planned, possibly towing so I will advise as things change!

Engine Oil Temperature
Evening all - I've got about ~5,000 miles on my 2018 Power Wagon and I loaded it up and took a camping trip out to Death Valley last weekend. With a full load of gear and a buddy (maybe 600 pounds total - just stuff in the cab and bed I was not towing anything) I noticed some (to my mind) high engin...

Re: New to the group from Baltimore Md.
Looks great, most cameras don't do Mojave Sand justice!
I've got a PW in the same color and coincidentally I'll be relocating out your way this summer.
What packages / specs did you get on yours?

Re: What came with your 2018
You can get a printed manual if you bitch about it. Don't even need to bitch about it...I just sent a friendly email to Ram customer service requesting one and it is currently being sent to me free of charge. My 2018 came with two key fobs, winch controller, tailgate plugs if you want to remove the...

Re: Mojave edition.
I picked one up - honestly I wasn't thrilled about any of the Power Wagon colors and was on the verge of buying a Tradesman Power Wagon so I could get a color I liked. When I saw the Mojave Sand come out, I really liked the color so I picked one up. The color certainly doesn't show dirt / mud / dust...

Greetings from a new 2018 Power Wagon owner
Picture of the new rig on the California coast: https://imgur.com/a/yhmLNKt Hey everyone! I've been interested in purchasing an off road vehicle, specifically a Wrangler or a Power Wagon for a while now. After extensive research and driving my buddy's modified JK Unlimited, I settled on the Power Wa...
