Re: Acceleration lag?

Won’t the pedal commander make your warranty void on a lot of stuff? I wouldn’t do it till it’s out of power train warranty. You can unplug and plug it back in within a few minutes. Shouldn’t effect the warranty at all. It doesn’t tune or change any points. Basically just a voltage amplifier from w...

Re: Antifreeze smell

I’ve had the same thing going on. Noticed the reservoirs a little low, and have smelled it. Never seen a puddle or any marks. Weathers been garbage for awhile now, but I’d like to search the radiator end with some soap bubbles.

Awesome write up, hank you for referring me to it. Points me in the direction I need to go when picking recovery equipment.

Re: Correct Recovery?

I prefer the Columbus McKinnon or Crosby shackles over “off-road” hardware. Iirc, the 12.5 ton alloy shackle will break at >50 tons. The off-road stuff is usually specified at 50% of breaking strength. And shock loading starts at 200% of the load. The soft shackles are also a possibly. Not much che...

Re: Correct Recovery?

Picked up an ARB 17.5k snatch strap ARB 30k snatch block ARB 17.6K winch extension strap ARB 10’ tree saver strap. 17.5k snatch strap - undersized for your truck. You could use this for snatch recoveries of lighter vehicles, but another HD truck recovering your HD truck could break this strap. Thei...

Re: Correct Recovery?

I was looking at something like this. The Smittybuilt wasp. I do like the fact the pullpal is made here, and looks really solid.

Any expierence with using the pullpal? I’d like to have some kind of Anchor really, I’d rather have too much equipment being by myself.

Correct Recovery?

Hey guys I was going to post this in recovery, but it doesn’t seem like it’s visted that often. If needed to remove just let me know. I’ve gone trail riding when I was younger, hell now that I think about it about 10yrs ago. Anyway I’ve had my truck nearly a year and have only taken it off trail but...

14’ electrical issues

New to the forum and the truck. Seems like almost every other week I have some type of electrical issue. First started with the drivers side switch cluster. It will operate the back windows, but not the front, the locks, nor the mirrors. I do believe I have that traced to the module behind the door ...

Re: New to me 14’

I had an 04 2500hd. Took its licks, but the pricing for a newer model had me searching. Wish I had known about the tradesmen model wagon. Seems like every week I have something electrical wrong with the PW.
Is that common for the 14 models?

New to me 14’

Made the switch recently from Chevy to Ram. Gotta say I’m really lovin* the power Wagon. I’ve visited the site before and couldn’t find a better forum around for info. Hopefully get to contribute and pick some brains.
