You guys have all been awesome.

Re: 2nd/3rd/4th TIPM Failure!!!!

Well that was a long day.
Ups and downs. Got mad at a tech. Got help from the Service Manager.

I'll probably elaborate later but it looks like it was NEVER a TIPM problem at all. Never. At. All.
Not the TIPM.
Just sloppy wiring.

Ya know, my radio glitched yesterday... Each time it failed, it was a wet day or wet the day before. Yesterday was a bunch of snow & slush driving. Then I was in the lot waiting for my wife to come out of work and the radio just sorta froze and I couldn't change stations. It was playing an FM statio...

Re: Snowpocalypse 2014!!!!

We had about 2" of ice and 4" of snow on top of it. The PW ate it up but the state was crippled. GA just doesn't have the equipment or manpower to handle ice/snow on a large scale. Too many steep and twisty roads. It was really really bad 2 weeks ago when everybody was caught away from home when it ...

How many miles do you have on your truck (not that it should matter, but I'm just curious).
Going on 63,000.
There's something wrong with the truck's wiring that's causing it.

About to call my dealer.... :notworthy:

Re: 2nd/3rd/4th TIPM Failure!!!!

Don't blame you for that. Sounds like Lemon Law time to me. Sent via gigawatt laser... GA lemon law isn't all that useful to the consumer. It's a sham and gives lots of rights to the manufacturer. I'm out of the lemon law period entirely and it's not even 3 years old. If anything happens that's goo...

Re: New massive recall of 1.2M Ram trucks....

The left tie rod ball stud on your truck may fracture under certain driving conditions. This could cause a loss of directional control and/or crash without warning. Chrysler will repair your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will replace steering linkage components. ...

A "clunk" is now gone that was "normal" ---- I'd hear it over speed bumps, sometimes loud. I never could find anything loose underneath.
And it's shifting like butter; fuel economy is up a little too.

Re: Who has the highest mileage PW?

Figure it out in miles per month to really compare usage.
A 2005 @ 170,000 miles could more or less be 1770 miles/month.

I've had mine 27 months and have 50,000 miles. Roughly 1851 miles/month.
Hopefully I live long enough to get to a million. That would be sweet....

Back a few years ago while on a trip in my '96 Dakota, my brake master cylinder started failing on a Friday morning in Columbia Falls Montana.
