Re: Control Arms How long should I get

If you are interested in stocks, ill send you mine for $50 with 45k road miles on them. enough to cover a case of beer and shipping. Hmmm. how are the bushings. Great, The only reason i put the Pure Performance on it was because I "had" 20"s on it with a stupid offset. I was just getting my tire aw...

Re: Control Arms How long should I get

I've got it narrowed down to Dodge Off road, pure performance or stock arms. I run 35's and don't rub so don't need anything too crazy. I was happy how it flexed with stock arms. Will the other 2 arms I mentioned give about the same flex as stock arms? Will ride improve much, sounds like it will th...

Re: Control Arms How long should I get

I have a 07 with 1" spacer. I put the pure performance dual sport control arms on mine. Made it ride waaaaaaaay better, they were $500. Only problem is I could not tell you where i set them at, just kinda did it, they are adjustable.

Re: Finally got a PW. :)

Yeah, my thread got locked about my 20's, then the 2nd one someone started got locked, 3rd didnt lol, I accepted being called a mall crawler because, well thats what it is. Anyways I had 20's with a -12 offset and mud grapplers, went back down to 18"s with a 0mm offset and destination mt's and like ...

Re: Dodge Ram Power Wagon Global Production Numbers 2005-201

The chart shows it, I didnt start seeing any until 15, thats when the numbers started rising up. Ive seen maybe 3 15ish's around here, my 07, another 07(because it was for sale), and a white 07-09. Thats it in the past 3 yrs pretty rare in my neck of the woods too. I dont even think the people drivi...

Re: Questions about Swapping Mirrors

Yeah, I have an 07 that i swapped, I know 2 different ballgames. But I could not for the life of me figure out why the computer would have to be reprogrammed. I have never heard of such. Re: Christmas

Yeah my brother tried to get me the hook last year. But it was on back order then they told him they cut the line. So when they came back out he went ahead and got me all of it. I'll probably get the hook for my quad as well.

boy those fellows happy they know you..ryan how did those firestones m/ts perform..? I was actually impressed, I cant give any rock hard testomonial. I'm used to boggers off road and thats about it. I dont have much experiance with any radial mud terrain, but they do last a while and ride good. The...

Re: Recovery mission

When I was younger, I once put my car up on jack stands, pulled the wheels and washed it, just to get it clean enough to start detailing it. Then I went over every nook and cranny with a series of toothbrushes, before I polished and waxed it. I was nuts, but not any more. You, sir, are still nuts. ...

I spent 3 hrs yesterday, and 2 hrs today, just hosing mud out the underbody, I'm a clean freak, every nook and cranny. Then I moved it to my driveway and put it on jackstands. Tomorrow going to get all 4 turning slowley as I pressure wash tread and backsides of tires with cleaner (I'm a little to m...

Re: Recovery mission

LOL, That would have been great!!! Also, we all work at bridgestone/fireston, so naturally we all have the same tires, firestone destination MT's, and believe it or not we all purchased our tires within the last few months, so no advantage on tread for me lol Great story! I was wondering what the t...

Recovery mission

So the other night I got a phone call. My truck is what you would call a mall crawler, I never take it off road, I take total pride in it. I have a mud truck for that. Anyways, so there was a Tundra stuck about a mile down this logging (trail) they just cleared It wasnt raining when he went down the...

Re: Wheel spacers on stock rims and 35's :))

spacers are no more harmful than wide wheels with big offset like all these mallcrawlers have, as long as you buy good ones. Although I'm not disagreeing with what you did here (I probably would have done the same thing if i wanted to keep stock wheels) and I have run spacers on 2 different trucks ...

Re: Tire replacement question

You could go with the 33x12.50R20 as well, just a touch shorter but wider, or the ones your talking about, same height just a little narrower, either way you go I don't think you'll notice especially if you going beefier.

Sorry, it's time for me to chime in. First "Tread" is spelled "tread" not "thread", one of my pet peevs. I work with tires..... A lot. If you are using the vehicle off road only, more power to you, but I know what it takes to make a safe tire. Spend the little bit of extra money for new tires, like ...
