Props to you Damage for getting rolling on this... that is a big step! All this stuff is definitely a niche kinda thing, but I think there is enough junkies out there to keep you prosperous

Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
Thanks yelr! I plan to expand the market to cover much more than the PW platform, but that's what I started with since it's what I have access to. There's a lot of important parts of the puzzle already covered by other makers, but there's a lot of things still missing or already out there that are just poorly executed. I have goals for this platform, centered on not only being functional, but also not leading to compromises like so many options do.olyelr wrote:Props to you Damage for getting rolling on this... that is a big step! Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
The PW owner on the TFL video mentioned getting the sliders from a guy in Crested Butte. I would love to know who that is and how to get ahold of them.

@easttnrhino I got your order as well, thank you sir! Your business means a lot to me.
I'll let you guys know when I get rolling on the Skids.
Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
I am emailing you now about a set for my 2017 Power Wagon.
Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
I bought a new Power Wagon a couple of months ago. I just placed an order for the skids.
I went camping this weekend and scraped the front differential on a rock I didn't see. It didn't hurt the cover this time but after smacking the rock my wife prompted me to order a set of diff guards. After reading here I ordered Carli front and Purple Cranium rear diff guards. I had Warn diff guards on my old 2000 2500 and reading here sounded like the Carli front and Purple Cranium rear seem like good choices. If Carli had a rear guard I definitely would have ordered it over the Purple Cranium. The Carli looks a lot like the old Warn diff guards I had.
Thanks for this site it is a lot of help!

Good pick on diff covers. I'll be getting a Carli front cover when I get around to it. The purple craniums are pretty serious as well. I don't know why Carli never made a rear diff cover, I would think those to be pretty common. Maybe they don't want to compete with added capacity and finned cooling covers.
This is an excellent site for info. Nice split between playful banter and well-spoken tech advice.

Maybe that will be one of your next projects... front and rear diff covers. Full replacement covers, and also something like carli hasDamageWagon wrote:... Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
Thank you again for the purchase Reloaderguy!
This is the clearance under the factory exhaust. Just enough to be healthy. The Skid sits lower than the rest of the skid plates, but you can see it doesn't sit any lower than the radius arms.

Fitment is perfect, installation is pretty straight forward. An oil pan valve compliments the skid well too.

Hey DamageWagon, Will these fit with a Mag-Hytec deep trans pan. I've been wanting to get one but was afraid the problem of cracking it on a trail. This would fix that as long as it fits.

Do these even fit '13 and back trucks?

Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
The current model only fits 4.5 gens ('13+ 3500's and '14+ 2500's). I will be making variants for all trucks from '03-13. Maybe in about a month I'll have one that fits your '13.thedriver21 wrote:Hey DamageWagon, Will these fit with a Mag-Hytec deep trans pan. I haven't tested the skids with a deep trans pan, but there is a ton of room under there. I'd assume it would fit, but again, I haven't been able to confirm that. It would definitely be a nice upgrade paired with both a deep trans pan and an oil drain valve.

Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
It does look like it would fit but I wanted to check with you. I'll DM you at the end of october to put my order in if possible. But kudos to you for producing these!
Now if someone could make a rear diff skid plate/slider for the 10.5 that would be great
On a side note, I consider the 13 the best year of all You get the interior of the 4.5 gens and the simplicity as well as aftermarket support of the 5.7 hemi and the 5 link front/leafspring rear haha

You got it man. I've got a running list of people interested in different products, I'm happy to put your name down.thedriver21 wrote:It does look like it would fit but I wanted to check with you. I'll be making said skid for the 10.5's.
If you really want to play with these trucks, you can't beat the 03-13 suspensions. You can really modify these things! The newer trucks ride a lot better out of the box though
Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
I'd definitely like to check out this skid plate. I was just under my truck looking at the plates and noticed a few gaps. This looks like it covers the main gap of the exhaust. I already have Purple Craniums front and rear.

Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate
I had a bit of an emergency on the home front on Thursday and that has taken up my time until now. I was able to get back to it today, they will be done in a few days. For the powder coated ones it will be about another 5-8 days. Sorry for the delay!TheDirtRoad wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 6:56 pmDamagewagon , do you have an ETA on the ones that have been ordered?
