I ordered my '16 with everything but Nav and dual alts. Where I'm going, the Nav won't help anyways.

If I had to do it again, I would NOT get the Ramboxes. My truck has spent over a year of it's life at the dealership for those terribly designed lids. On the 2500's, they will warp and separate. I recently found out why, on the 1500's, they don't. A small tab holds the outer corners in place, something that was left out of the design for some reason on the bigger trucks. Hopefully they've fixed this on the newer models after enough complaints (mostly from me). Very useful, but very poorly executed on the '16 2500. I just had mine replaced for the 4th time and two weeks later they're coming off again.

Damn, and I've been kicking myself for not getting the ramboxes. I had my heart set on a camper shell but haven't pulled the trigger yet, not that I won't eventually but all my money just went into suspension. My truck has everything an SLT can be optioned with except ramboxes, dual alts (single 220) and nav, although it's capable if I ever decide to shell out the $600 for it.

Something else to break I suppose...

If you don't have your heart set on brand new; try a Nationwide search on CarGurus for used 2017 Ram PowerWagons; there are several pretty nice 2017 models for sale around the country with fairly low miles.

The bad thing about Nav is when you have to update it. It cost about $149.00. You have to order the update online. You have to do it yourself. And it will clean out your saved addresses too. Also you have to stop to punch in an address.

Well we are back to ordering. F ers cashed my check already. I am just contacting several dealers to see who will give me the best deal on an order. HALF of dealers don't even answer the sale line! WTF? I am going as far a Phoenix for a quote now. If you have someone with in a reasonable distance from Albuquerque you can recommend let me know. Its an order, it will be the same truck, it will take months, who cares if I have to spend 150.00 to fly somewhere and drive back for 6 hrs to save thousands.

Email Dennis Dillon. Phone conversations are a waste of time and just give dealers the resources to play car-dealer games.

Here is $11.5k off of sticker.

I don't know about you but I'd crush a 15hr drive for an extra $6k discount. Last week I drove 2600 miles though so my perspective is a little different.

Moab is on the way too.

I am in Mesa outside Phoenix, and I got mine from Bill Luke, they usually have about 4 or 5 in stock, but I just Checked and only have a Blue one 2017..... but you can see the discounts they offer. Dont know about ordering from them, I got mine last year about this time, was the cheapest I could find.....

That Orange is a "catchy" color - looks like they added just about every available option to that (can't add Ramboxes with low volume paint color).

Dennis couldn't find any 'magic money' and wasn't willing to get into the holdback for me... Same price as local - invoice plus incentives is all I could get...

I am not asking someone to get into there HB, they have to make a profit! I don't expect to pay invoice either. Still has incentives when you build it for 2018 which is nice

My 2017 was $59,115 I paid $49,100.00. Which included a $3,500 rebate. I have no idea if it is a good buy or not. Seemed reasonable to me and I had wanted a Power Wagon for years so I accepted their offer.

They added the tube steps that were never added to the sales price. I am not sure but I believe those are around $500.

Basically my dealer invoice is 58,627.00 although I found a mistake for 195.00. So Luke and Dillon both came in at 2K under invoice,(dillons was lower but had some missing items, not there fault) which seems awfully good. So 56,627.00 minus any incentives which apparently are a mystery at the moment for 2018. So the way I see it if my local dealer can get to with in 1K I will stick with them. Since I would be looking at a day off from work, gas, plane ticket, miles on new truck, ect. If they stick with 60K, for 3500.00 I will just grab a flight to Phoenix and net myself 3K for a days work.

The sweet spot is 21% to 23% below sticker. If you're paying more you aren't trying very hard. I rented a car dolly for $85 and drove my little econo car to Boise.

Yes, want to go new. Been 13 years, time to treat myself again. And not settling this time for black white or silver. Getting what I want for the next 13 years. That is not a bad deal though!

Got with in 750.00 of Phoenix, so for that staying local. Not worth ticket, gas, day off from work. So roughly 1365.00 below invoice, or 5,878.00 below MSRP. I have a VON, however I take it that the order tracking system is not working these days from reading around?

Did the Vin do anything once you got one? Looks like Chrysler rolled this system out to some fanfare many years ago. I think the problem is no one updates the system properly and it was too much hassle so they gave up. Ford Raptor guys are tracking theirs, and its a pretty big mess also.
