Thanks for the reply, Colibri. I know there a lot of factors involved but generally speaking how does the power/drive train hold up to high miles? Should I be concerned about the 5.7's longevity at over 100k?

Thanks again!

Where's the center console and what's under the slide in bed liner? The interior looks hammered. Whenever I see a slide in bed liner I immediately think the dealer is trying to hide something.

The consoles flipped up and you gotta love white paint. Hides everything. Doesn't look bad to me but I'm not fond of that interior even when new. Those southwest desert trucks can have a lot of miles on them and zero rust. I think it's worth the price but wouldn't buy something with that many miles w/o a carfax and mechanic inspection. My coworker just purchased a 2008 Rubicon. I got down on my knees to look under it and every seal was leaking. I don't think he even looked underneath it. He was so excited about the jeep I didn't even mention it.

Good catch, I didn't notice that. Also the rear passenger door has a weird cover on it. Ugh.

Yeah I see what you mean now. I've never seen one with the vinyl floors. Did they even come with a floor console? I'm guessing they did from the wonky cover where the floor console should be.

Government auction truck? $20k is too high if so.

Some odd stuff. Looks like a good candidate for damagewagon v.2 :-)

I don't see the link so...

my truck has the vinyl floors. I love them, best idea ever. Well, sliced bread... My truck didn't have that high of hours, mine had something in the high 4### hours, I've seen guys with the same year truck as me that was law enforcement and had 11### hours, is there a big thing to check. My truck has stupid misfire issues I still haven't diagnosed. The driveshaft blew up and grenaded the transfer case around 100k miles, covered by the original agency so I have a newer case and shaft. Aside from potential body issues, engine issues, front driveshaft and t-case, front end steering components, and any electrical issues (if it was government, it was full of wires and when they sell them they cut all those wires and hope nothing shorts and burns it to the ground), aside from all that there's not much to go wrong in these trucks.

Nah, CBP/BP loves their raptors. I was coming up through a checkpoint a few weeks ago and he's staring at my winch. There were two raptors parked off to the side. He was totally confused. I'm employed by USDOT and work closely with the CBP guys. They don't know what a power wagon is.

Border Patrol, Area 51, Forestry Service and Indian reservations run Wagons. Mine came from the Apache Nation in New Mexico.

You just learned me something, I thought I had read they were using power wagons. Raptors are cool and all but this is how a raptor seems next to a wagon to me lol

Maybe it is a retired border patrol. It looks like they do use them in AZ. I've never seen BP using a power wagon in Texas but plenty of raptors. The farthest port west of here I've been to is Columbus, NM so maybe I just haven't seen one yet.

Sounds like this alone would scare me away from a gov. auctioned PW lol.

Thanks for the input everyone!

It's really not that bad. They did a good job of "de-mil'ing" my truck. There's holes in places where lights, radios and a gun rack were. No electrical shorts or anything. They actually removed almost every wire. Much better than my '92 cummins, that thing was a birds nest, like 5 different guys wanted to wire their own radios and lights and crap...
