SOLID diff covers

Post by yellowranger1 » Thu May 04, 2017 1:51 pm

Front and rear diff covers, fit up to a 2013

WILL NOT FIT 14+ TRUCKS.

Brand new with hardware and black rtv. Nodular iron covers made to take a beating off road. We've run a pair of these on a Jeep Rubicon never had any issues with damage or leaks, they've held up to tons of abuse.

$150 shipped for the pair to lower 48 - Located in Los Angeles area

Yeah AEV is pretty much the only option and even those have some issues with the front cover clearing the track bar unless you're using AEV's lift.

That front cover is just incompatible with the 14+ CAD front axle. That's the old 9.25'' cover bolt pattern.

Aearles had to clearance his AEV cover because his Trackbar was all up on it. The Carli cover is the best way to go on any year I believe.

Yup got excited and pulled the trigger on these too soon. Not a huge deal, but I am planning on getting the Carli for the front, just wish they made a rear too.

Figured someone on here may be able to use them, price is negotiable by the way.

So, the rear is for a 10.5 axle??? Sweet! I didn't think they made one for the 10.5!

So, the front fits. The back does NOT fit a PW. At least not a 13 or older... The rear cover is for an AAM 11.5" axle. My truck has an AAM 10.5" rear axle (assuming the rest of the trucks do as well, but don't quote me on that.

This should fit the DIESEL trucks. So if you guys want a nice cover for your tow rig, $75 shipped will take this one. Comes with all of the hardware (nice SHC screws with lock washers, the plug, and gasket maker/RTV).

'14 and up PW have the 11.5" rear, '13 and back have the 10.5".

What the hell? I spoke to 2 different people at solid/spyntec they said it would not work on coil spring rear trucks but would work on all leaf spring rear 2500s even specifically asked about the PW. I held it up under my dads 2012 and it was a perfect match. I'm

Unfortunately it's doesn't fit the 14+ rear, I held it up in place and it looks like it wold clear the sway at just fine, but the bolt pattern is all wrong.

Well its 100% for the 11.5" AAM. I haven't crawled under a 2014 or newer PW, but it definitely doesn't fit the 2013 or older trucks (unless its a diesel).

Easiest way to tell the 2 apart is that the 10.5" diff has flat sides on both top and bottom, with 2 bolts in a flat plane on both top and bottom (almost 3, but the 3rd is slightly offset).

The 11.5" has a pointed top and bottom, with one bolt at the top and one at the bottom, not in a plane with any other bolts.

Or you could just google the two axles and see which one your truck has.
