Jeep Truck Spy Photos

Revealing coil suspension out back, solid axle up front. Very interesting. Curious to know if it is or is not a half ton frame.

I know they are going to sell, but holy hell, that wheelbase looks about as big as my truck. Less power, less capability, but almost the same price ? I'll take my truck any day or even a new PW over that ugly looking thing. If you lift it, put it on tons, super charge it, it would be in the ballpark of a stock Power Wagon. Prob have to strengthen the frame though.

I constantly get asked why I have a truck. When I do, I laugh loudy & reply: Cause' trucks get shit done !

When I get asked at the gas pumps why I have such a big truck, by a woman, my standard reply is, with a straight face is: Because I have a small dick & I am over compensating, isn't that the stereotype ? ! That usually generates 1 of a few replies: 1) You're an asshole, 2) loud laughter, 3) loud laughter & "at least your honest"--i guess that makes them feel like "they told me", or 4) they go into some f**king b*lls**# about the environment & 98% of the time are driving a Prius of some sort. Those enviro wacko's are in a group all by themselves.

I had some a**hole Dr. at work once, she parked next to me with her Honda Hybrid & the conversation went something like this: WOW, thats a BIG truck, where do you park something like that---Pretty much anywhere I want----What would you do if someone keyed your truck----I walked right up to her & said "I would put it in 4wd, drive up your hood & park on your fu**ing roof, any more questions-----Nope, & she walked away. There were no camera's in the parking lot then. People are AWESOME !!!

Probably not as long as it looks, reminds me of one of my favourite trucks the LR defender 130.

Supposed to be available with the ecodiesel. We'll see.

I'd like to see it next to the H3T if anyone remembers those. The Alpha turned out to be a decent truck and maybe a prelude to the modern Colorado. I'm curious to see hot big this thing is. Taco size? Honda Ridgeline size? Colorado size? Or smaller than the above. Hard to tell from photos.

Sadly, many vehicles suffer that fate from the big 3. As soon as they get it right, they stop making them. H1-Alpha, H3 Alpha, H3T, Impala SS, Crown Vic's, GM solid front axle trucks, etc... .

If its a real jeep with rubicon option (44s, lockers, disconnect) and i dont see why it wouldnt I would love to get into one. I wont be able to afford it and I freakin love my truck but those are going to be cool
If I start listing Mods I would have to change the list daily

I'll be curious to see if they have a two door option. That could be cool.

If they make the Jeep with an extended cab, instead of 4 doors. I would like that better.

A few cool "renderings" of the possible Jeep Truck. I'll take the extended cab.

Those renderings look a lot like the AEV Brute. And that is ending production. AEV worked closely with Jeep on it, and I almost wonder if Jeep is just basing their truck on AEV's work. Would save a lot of time in the R&D/Styling/Design phase.

When I talked to Dave at AEV he said that the Wrangler truck would look a lot like the Brute.

Makes a lot of sense based on their working relationship with Mopar & Jeep. I suspect it will probably have a better price point too. And probably sell like hot cakes.

Granted it is a left over 2016, but Mopar would be hard pressed to beat this price.

There's a guy who drives an aev brute around in downtown Austin. He's the only person who obviously knows what my truck is as he always points and thumbs up. Kinda cool.
