Hutchinson vs Trail Ready
Looking to buy some new wheels for my 2016 Laramie Power Wagon. I hope to be able to fit 37x12.5x17 tires with minimal rubbing and I know Thuren recommends a specific offset. I also know that the factory wheels are very high quality, so I want my aftermarket set to also be very high quality.
Between Hutchinson and Trail Ready, which one would you all choose? Or is there another (hopefully less expensive option) that I'm not aware of?

I would go with Hutchinson. External beadlocks are a pain on daily drivers. I have Allied Rock Monsters on my 2nd gen. Good wheel but a lot more maintenance.

Hutchinsons are leaps and bounds above trailreadys IMO.

Ask Colibri for his opinion--he has Hutchinson's--he speaks very highly of them, and he'd know.
If I ever pull the trigger on new wheels...they are on my list of future mods when I move out West.

All are very high quality wheels, only the hutchinsons are dot approved if it matters to you. They also are basically maintenance free once assembled. All the others you have to keep an eye on bolts. Double beadlock is better than single for gnarly off-road and very low pressures. You can loose an inner bead on other Beadlocks and it usually happens when traversing a steep angle sideways. Any quality Beadlock is good, hutchinsons are great. They do have some drawbacks, mainly cost and weight. A hutchy with a 37" toyo mt has to be close to 140 pounds. You really feel that in accelerating and braking and at the gas pump lol. If you just want a good looking aftermarket wheel don't bother, if you want the functionality of a beadlock the price difference between hutchinsons and trailready is negligible.
Single Beadlocks are lighter but require more attention and it's possible to loose an inner bead
Double are heavy, maintenance free and completely secure
A fella I know was being a hooligan in his lifted ctd and sliding around a dirt corner sideways one tire hit a rock or root and it popped the tire off the bead and flipped the truck on its lid. They're not just for crawling lol

You can't run TPMS sensors in Hutchinsons.

They are both great wheels... I love my Trail Readys... They are both expensive but with Hutchinson you get what you get... With Trail Ready you can pick from different sizes, powder coating options, ring sizes and colors, bolt colors etc... My TR's have been on for two years and they look just as good today as they did the day I ordered them (of coarse I did have them clear coated per TR's recommendation)... JMHO...

You can in fact run tpms with hutchinsons, I do on mine. You have to order a separate bracket kit that's a few extra dollars per wheel. Also they have different offsets and backspaces available but nothing over 17" I'm aware off.

You can run the TPMS per Hutchinson as well. I just ordered some 37x12.5 toyo RTs, so I do worry about the weight... less about the fuel and more about just feeling too slow.

Haha the description is a bit much, but they're fairly basic attractive wheels I think. I'm not much into the blingy busy looking wheels.

Those wheels have a nice look to them. I still have the stock wheels, and the they have really grown on me with the 37s on them. I keep going back and forth between keeping these and getting something else, TR, AEV, and a few others.

They're on! Some mild rubbing on fender liner and inner aspect of the flare as it wraps around on the bottom, which required minor trimming (which made me sad). No rub on radius arms or sway bar. I want Hutchinsons so badly!!! It'd be a super heavy wheel and tire combo (Pitbull Rocker Radial XOR LT (backordered right now) on Hutchinsons) BUT, sure would be awesome!!!!

I've ordered both my sets of hutchinsons through high-impact.net and been well pleased with the level of service. They have more options than rockmonster shows on their website, and can get o-rings tpms brackets and spare parts as well.
