It's the rear truss for an 11.5 Aam. It's just showing the axle with it. I have an 11.5 sitting on a pallet. Just need a gear swap and to figure out what to do with the fuel tank.... And yes. 4link is what's on the mind

Well after looking into the 4link rear it's just not feasible for a daily driver. New plan is thuren rear leafs and king 2.5s or 3s. I just got a smoking deal on a set of 37" nitto trail grapplers I couldn't say no to. I'll be putting them on once the snow leaves

Rear 4-link is a massive undertaking. I don't know of anyone who has done it, I think one guy has on a Ram, but I know tgibbs on DTX just started welding up his links. I also know t.e.designs/Get Vert makes links. If you were considering it those are the dudes to talk with if you haven't already.

2.5 or 3.0 kings with LT leaves is a whole different level of suspension. They're not in the same world as links, but much cheaper and easier, and still a huge improvement, especially if you are on stock 2500 leaves.

I have stock pw leaves in right now.
The 4 link isn't out of the question but just not for this truck. But it will be for the pw frame up build I want to do in the near future. Since I have the frame sitting in my yard doing nothing and a set of perfectly good axles. I can assemble a rolling chassis pretty easy.

Neat! Linking one of these trucks sounds awesome. Doing something special with the front suspension would be a game changer as well.

I have DOR long bent arms and I'm really liking them so I would likely go that route or similar again. With the exception of coil overs front and rear

Now that I remember, gun45boat went crazy with his PW suspension, links and coilovers.

Make sure to buy through a DOR vendor if you ever want to see your parts or get service, says the word on the street

Why not alien arms? Price? Length?

I got my arms straight from Danny himself. No issues at all. He was bang on with time frame to build and ship.
I debated aliens arms but I wanted a full long arm. The DOR ones are 4' long.
Here is a pic of the to be started project. It is a pw frame. But I will be building it more extreme than stock lol. A lot like gunny. If you go back to the early pages of this thread you can see how it came to be like this.

I'll have to read through and see what you did to the poor thing. Excited to see how that goes!

I've heard enough horror stories to not touch DOR. Some people are very happy and some people are out thousands of bucks. I wouldn't take that risk, especially since as soon as you have a problem he stops answering calls, says people who have been down that road.

I need that shaft lol. It's alum too. I've had many conversations with Danny before and after and he was always good to respond for all sorts of stupid little questions I had. Obviously my experience is different than others. Thuren has been great for me too. And dynatrac. Carli does not get my business ever again

So I finally got a new computer little while ago and was browsing some old usb drives and ended up down memory lane. So I decided to share some pics of my warrior 06 PW. I miss this truck to no end. Some of you originals from Dodge Talk will remember some of these. Thought id share. Most of these are from when I lived up in Thompson, Manitoba.

Emf joint is here!!! Looks so much stronger than the Carli heim! When the weather warms up I'll install it and put the track bar back in. It's still -25 and colder right now.

Very cool! You didn't select the "add 4 months to my shipping time" option then? Did you have to pay extra or do they deliver on time for Canadians only? ImageImage

The joint looks beautiful, and knowing that the thread diameter is 3/4".... That thing has more beef than this thing

No I just paid for standard shipping lol. $15 right to my post office box. I'm going to talk to them about replacing the busing end with a joint. But I'll run like this and see how bad it is
