New member from Tampa checking in.
I do not have a Power Wagon at this time, but it is 95% that I am ordering one shortly. My 2004 1500 Off-Road was totaled when someone ran a red light and t-boned my wife. She is fine, the truck is not. Our lifted 1993 YJ is now my daily driver.

Nice truck AcerWagon! Welcome to the
Just FYI, if you utilize your truck for even a quarter of what it's off road capabilities are, those steps will end up getting bent/ripped off and most likely cause damage to your rockers. An available option for real protection/steps are White Knuckle sliders, and I think Aluminess has some type of option as well.

Hi Winch Mob
Just picked up the PW today with White Knuckle sliders and Toyo M/T 35 installed, and sorry for the quality that was in the parking lot.

TankerZak wrote:Hello all,
I live in the Pacific Northwest though I traveled a ton during a rather long stint in the Army.
I go hunting twice a year, during which I do stupid stuff with my truck. So when my 11 Duramax was spending more time in the shop than on the road I ended up here. I've had a Dakota, Durango (truck version pre 2003), a 2001 2500 Off Road, so when it came time I went back to my roots and what I knew wouldn't fail me. I spend time with my girlfriend and our bulldog. And we use our 29 foot (8500lb) travel trailer 5 times a year or so outside of hunting.
A few months back I picked up the Granite Crystal Metallic 2016 Power Wagon Laramie, fully loaded, except for the clearance lights which my GF said were "f'n ugly"...
Mods so far: Toyo RT 35/12.5R17; Magnaflow 19200; DryFlow drop in airfilter; White Knuckle rock sliders .188 DOM; BackFlip X2 Revolver (roll-up hard tonneau); Timbrens, AMP Bedstep, Mopar chrome bug shield; Weathertech floor mats, vent shades, license plate covers, mud guards; kick plate protector molded tape; stubby antenna (though I keep the 32 inch on board); I also added a full suit of wenching gear including the cordless remote.
Does this seem extreme for hunting a few times a year? For sure, but I'm known for that... never do anything you don't plan to completely overdo to epic proportions...
It really all came down to the new travel trailer at 8500 wet and 36 feet long stem to stern 10 or so times a year. I didn't need a diesel for that, a 1500 I didn't feel could do it comfortably. So what was the coolest thing I could do in a gas 2500 with the most offroad stuff I could find...
2016 Granite Crystal Metallic Power Wagon Laramie, graphics delete, debadged, Thuren front and rear coils, Thuren rear swaybar links, Thuren front and rear trackbars, Traxada rear 1 inch spacers, King 3.0 (Stage 4) front and 2.5 (Stage 3) rear shocks, Boogie front bump stops, Cooper STT Pro 37x13.50R17 on XD Machette 17x9 +18 wheels, Centramatics, 5.13 gears, DOR steering brace, Thuren truss, Thuren King Steering Damper, Synergy Steering Kit, Thuren PW front bumper, Thuren rear bumper, White Knuckle rock sliders, Dethloff skid plate, Dethloff rear sway bar spacers, Purple Cranium Half Spider front and rear diff guards, Airlift 5000 Ultimate airbags with Daystar cradles, Bakflip Revolver X2 tonneau, Factor55 Ultrahook with 100ft 7/16 A.R.E. Spidersilk synthetic winch line, Zroadz Grill with slim 20 inch light bar, DDM Tuning LEDs/HIDs, Rigid Side Shooter ditch lights, KC rock lights, Rigid fog lights, Baja Designs rear lights, Magnaflow 19200 modified with upgraded resonator and after axle dump, tinted front windows 35%.
Re: "Welcome Thread"
Hello everyone. I just purchased my 2012 Power Wagon after years of wanting one. I'm loving it so far. Looking forward to learning more and making improvements and upgrades. First on the list are some sliders to protect my truck from the Colorado Rocks.
I wanted a power wagon so I could have a capable tow vehicle for my cj7 and a capable off road vehicle if I decided to leave the CJ at home. I think it will be the perfect solution. I've enjoyed the forum for a while. Thanks.

Hello everyone. New to the forum and the PW world. Just picked up a used 16 with less than 7000 miles been wanting a PW for sometime jumping from a lifted 1500 with the 5.7 So far totally love the new ride! Long list of mods I want to do as cash flow and wife let me get away with it. Not done to much yet ARE topper hell bent steal leveling kit on order. Hopefully going to do TDK bumpers front and rear and 35x12.50 tires. Also locker by pass and exhaust needs to sound like a truck. Going to use it for towing the RZR to and from the mountains and other play places up here in Wyoming. Look forward to learning from you gents seams to be a lot of very good info on here.

Re: "Welcome Thread"
I just picked up a fairly well optioned out Power Wagon today in flame red. I came from a 14 f150 with fox goodies and before that a 06 cummins equipped truck with the G56 and Carli parts. I've been searching for the right cummins equipped RAM for three weeks when I noticed the dealer I was working with had four power wagons getting ready to be sold and three were already on hold. Just picked up the truck today and I'm already in love.

Welcome to the forum. With all the new PW's on here. Feels like I'm driving a dinosaur. Think we might need our own vintage section for the 3G's.
