Hey man, next time you're poking around under your truck....so I'm assuming today, ya mind measuring the vertical distance between the bottom of your rear bumps and the top of the axle tube? I'm sitting here overseas putting together a list of parts to order and I'm starting to think that I'm going to run into issues with my rear DS binding due to the spline length with any significant axle compression. If I can find my original order spec sheet should be able to figure out how much the shaft will shorten with the axle compressed based off of your measurements. Really hoping I don't have to send it back to Tom Wood or find a local shop to modify it. Thanks man

how much spline shaft you got showing brotha? Remember you have to think of leafs like trailing arms so when the rear suspension actually compresses it pulls the driveshaft out of the slip yoke and when it droops out it pushes it further in! I can measure if you want when I get a chance!

Hmm, actually never realized that. Not a whole lot unfortunately, only about 1.5" or so...didn't take that into account when taking measurements to order it. I may just have to cycle the suspension when I get back and see how it looks

we narrowed it down to a t case and weirdly enough my t case guy and diff guy has never seen that situation before and then after he looked at mine a few times he had another customer with a 12' cummins that had a vibe from his t case at around same speeds

Apperantly 12'z were bad for weird shit like that turbo diesel or gassers

good times this weekend this truck still blows me away... Lots of hard work and pissed off moments with it but when it works it works so well... Great gtg with the other power wagons from around Edmonton area we were missing a few because of other circumstances but great little run. Scared a can am renegade 1000 after he passed me in the spillway when I was leading the group and I decided to just play keep up for five minutes... Needless to say the whites off his eyes were quite huge when he turned around and saw this 8000lb truck still right behind him after him doing 80kmh down a rutted out trail for two minutes lol we stopped and talked afterwards and he's like how did that thing even keep up I thought I was going pretty quick? I was just like "ya ...you were"

Where's that meme that says "Just got a new daily!" over a picture of a stock car. Then in another picture below it where it's completely modded to hell and doesn't look anything close to stock it says "Damn, I need a daily" This is that, except with a truck.

Hahahaha exactly. Can an admin change this title to frankenwagon? Hahaha

Some updates I didn't actually go with this cage design because they fucked up and put shocks in the wrong spot so now they are tilted inwards as well as forwards for tire clearance I think I still have to run wheel spacers to clear everything however the travel numbers look pretty sweet I'm thinking 19" at least.... This is 4500lbs in bed and still not at full bump so I will have to cycle myself and set the new bump zone up with boogies etc... I do get it back tomorrow but here's a few pictures to keep y'all entertained ImageImageImageImageImageImage

I've had trouble finding good help in the past, it's always frustrating to come back and find nothing has been done the way you wanted it to. I was surprised to not see any bent tube in that bedcage. Overall it's starting to really come together though lee, just hang in there and you'll be making raptors tuck tail and run in no time!
