So your saying a new wagon can fit 37s!? How much trimming involved?
I woul consider it but there's no tuner for 2015 without buying or modifying your pcm

Mines a 2012. I did add Thuren arms. I get some minor rubbing on the rear of the upper arm, but nothing otherwise. I do need to trim a little bit of the fender well but again. No big deal

Finally ! ! :excited:

Look Awesome man, told ya, the PW is made for 37's.... 8-)

And I'm not a fan of Toyo's but I do like the looks of those, not too aggressive and looks like they'll be road worthy.

Looks great! I'm glad to see these tires on a wagon finally. Those will be my next tire purchase as well.

Thanks. I am glad they are on. Thanks for helping me with all my stulid questions. So far the toyos have been good. Only time will tell but I'm happy. Can't wait to get out and actually do some wheeling

What's th exact size measure your running to fit them? Looks like you just trimmed plastic wheel well parts to fit?

Did you have to cut the metal pinch weld itself or were you just referring to the plastic over the pinch weld?

Yes... Cut the pinch weld as well as the plastic liner... The shop that did it did an awesome job and really took their time... Looks like it came from factory this way...

Ordered my 37" tires and wheels last week. Going with something a little outside the box.
Using the AEV Katla 17" wheels and the new Cooper Discoverer STT Pro 37-1350RLT17.

I did the pinch weld trim/paint/seal and heat gunned the back of the front wheel well liners yesterday.
I saw a post by Skys Ram that seemed to indicate actual trimming might not be required if the liner is pushed far enough back with the heat gun.
If it is required, I'll just hit it up with a Dremel.

I had no idea the fender flares had adhesive tape along almost the entire length of the flare.
It took me forever to get that crap off, even using 3M Adhesive remover, since there was so much.

I also ordered a set of Rough Country fender flares that already arrived (90 day return if I don't like them) in case the tires extend farther than I want.
They add .75" (2.5" total) additional lateral coverage when compared to the factory flares (1.75" coverage from the edge of the flare to the center of the top center mounting hole).
Not sure how they will compare visually. I have avoided taking the rear flares off until I see what both sets of front flares look like with the new tires.
I want as little to do with that adhesive tape as possible. If factory looks OK, I will ship the RC flares back.

I talked to my dealership and they said they set speedos pretty regularly for the Jeep crowd and are pretty sure they can set it on my truck.
They will be my first step in trying to get it corrected. They were pretty helpful when I got the TPMS threshold lowered.
I checked HyperTech but they don't have a programmer out yet for the Power Wagon.

Man... the dealerships near me said they won't reprogram for 37's... Only up to 35's... My Trail Ready wheels wouldn't accept the TPMS sensors so I have the light... It bothered me for about a week but I'm over it now... I do get tired of having to see a picture of my truck on my dashboard with dashes at each wheel every time I start it up though...

Might be worth putting in a request with HyperTech to add the 2014 PW to the list of programmers they maintain. I put one in for the 2015 PW. I can't see them being very different than a normal 2500.

Nice, I'm very curious about the flares. I poked at taking mine off once but wasn't sure how they were held on, the tape... All of my flares are so sun faded and some are worse than others so I'd like to change them, that's one of the reasons I sprayed them with Plasti-Dip.

Just waiting on the wheels to arrive. I'll take a few pictures of the back side of the factory flares to give a better idea of the tape. Essentially it is a 1/4"-3/8" strip that is a little ways down from the top (I think around 1" down, but I can give a better measurement tonight). It runs pretty much 85%+ of the length of the flare.

I plan to install the front RC flares without adhesive and take a few pictures. Even if I don't go with them in the end, they might be just what someone else has been looking for. If I decide to use them, I might see if they are durable enough to handle being line-x'd before I install them. As I understand it, Line-X goes on pretty hot, so I don't know if it would be viable.

It looks like your tires and the ones I ordered show the same exact height, 36.77". Wheels just showed up. Headed out to get them mounted now.

New wheels and tires installed. Tested to 80 MPH for vibration, looks good so far. Reinstalled the factory flares.

Decided to stick with factory flares over the RC flares. The factory flare installation just seems much more durable, even though I wish it had a little more coverage. Note: you will need 5 feet of tape for each front flare.

The tires I selected are fairly wide. Cooper Discoverer STT Pro 37x1350x17LT. I could have gone with the 37x1250x17LT, but those were 8 ply and only .3 inches narrower on overall width, so I opted for the 1350 and maintained the 10 ply.

The wheels are AEV Katla 17x8.5" with 6" backspace. With this combo I only have slight rubbing at full lock. The only modding I did was the pinch weld trim, fender liner reshape with a heat gun, and trimming of the lower back edge of the front fender liners.

The deep backspace helped quite a bit, as you can see in the down facing picture of the rear wheel well shot from above the fender. The fender flare manages to extend over the full tire, although only at the top. It seems the front of the truck is narrower or the fender flares up front have less coverage, as the front tires do protrude a little. I apologize for the oddball picture from the rear. Looks like it was shot in a fun house. I was trying to show the left rear tire from the back in relationship to the side of the truck.
