Didn't even think about that, all the lights should never be on all at once, but still. What's an upgraded alternator for the 13's?

Got my KC gravity lights and man are they heavy. I was expecting light Polly casing and they feel almost like cast Alum. housings.

FYI I ordered (2) 1644 individual lights as I already have a relay harness run, unfortunately the lights do not come with any splice in connectors for the lights (I.E. the lights have a female connector pre-wired and they don't come with a short male that you would connect to an existing harness). I did call KC and they are sending me a set on the house (normally $5 each) which is cool of them (did not want to cut off the connector.

I will update when I get them installed.

I will always love the look of a bed mounted roll bar with 4 or 5 KC's mounted to it.

High power LED's need a heatsink since they create the heat internally vs a bulb that project both the light and heat outward.

I am a bit more aware if this than the avg. person (I work for a high end Lighting MFG.). I almost wonder if they could get even more output from a new housing that exposes the heatsink to air and upping the drive current vs. keeping it in the poly housing.

I know the case is Poly I was just really not expecting them to be as heave and solid feeling. The light engine package in the housing must be a solid/cast metal heat sink (pics online of the inserts are deceiving vs. the weight they are).

Over all I think they will be a very solid light.

I'm likely going to put a Rigid 54" RDS bar on mine, but am leary of the wind noise everyone is talking about. I had the 50" on my JKU and it wasn't bad, but that was a brick on wheels too.

Anyone run a curved bar on a truck yet?

Both mine are curved, hoping to mount the roof bar and mind as well hack up the stock bumpers for shits and giggles until tax return comes in to get my bumpers.

Holy smokes!! That's gonna be BRIGHT!! I've got one of each, and almost find the flood is too much! Looking forward to seeing what yours will look like. I'd been planning to run a couple more lights, but have found the 2 I have are more than sufficient.

KC gravity's installed (finally lol)

Here are a few pics, I will be redoing the mounts a bit and using SS as the current ones are rusting.

Overall the spread/driving pattern is great, has good punch/distance, clean/wide distribution, and the instant on is so much better than the HID's warm up time.

I will try and get some nigh time light shots this weekend.

A buddy of mine has his own fab shop in town and ordered them through a company called " poly performance" . I'm pretty stoked to see what they do at night. I will let you know if I get a 747 to land. Lol.
