Please take my name off the list. Ended up buying your kit off someone in the classifieds. Thankyou!

Myoung84,
Are you going to use the list on the "Hardwired Lockers with OEM Knob" thread for the 3rd Gen bypass kits or will you start a new one on the "3rd Gen Smartbar Locker Bypass" thread in the vendor section? Just curious as it seems you are getting close to making them.

MYoung, any word on the 2014 SLT PW's, if you are okay with the '14's, I would love to be on your list.

Wow that amazes me. I thought you wasn't happy with how your PW locked from day 1. I had mine a pretty short time before I was able to make time to install it. Once I installed it I pretty much said to myself wow that was super easy and quick. I would have made time sooner if I knew the install was going to go so smooth. Myoung did an incredible job on the kit and the instructions. I have 35" tires Thuren control arms a tuner and some other things done to my PW and I still think the locker bypass is my favorite mod so far. Still evaluating my tuner but it looks promising.

I'm on the short list & those locker connectors scare me. 1. Actually unlocking the tabs & pulling them apart seems like a skill on its own , & 2) the protective steel flanges welded to the axle make getting to the connectors a challenge as well

Taking the connectors apart is really easy actually. Especially as new as your truck is with new connectors. I could see them being brittle if they were on an 05 truck or something. Just make sure that you slide the little tab back then press the release then pull them apart. Once you install the kit you'll look back and say man that was easy.
