Ok, so let's go with Bruderheim. I was thinking we can meet there at 10am. By there, how about right at the wheeling spot, just a few meters east of highway 830 on township road 565. Later today or tomorrow I will get a Google maps link. Mpersicke87, great news that you can make it! I have no problem at all with others joining, in fact my brother and his Jeep may also join us.

Sounds good, can we get directions or something posted? And who's rocking an air compressor to air back up :)

Looking forward to this!

In regards to the meeting spot, the township Rd off hwy 830 is Twp 564a on the left and 565 on the right of 830 ( a bit confusing) ... minor detail... I know because that is where I am working. About 1 km south off the meeting spot(sand pit). They are stringing a new power line across 830. I will be two towers to the west of hwy 830( through a locked gate) tomorrow sitting in a crane likely doing absolutely nothing because they are tensioning the line in that span. It's great getting paid well to do nothing but it hurt knowing you guys will be rippin it up and have fun nearby.
Because I'm working in that area now, I would suggest looking at the east access to that area ... off rr 204 ... Just north of the power lines. I've been driving around there lately and it looks like a good access point for trucks.

Have fun

Anywhere outside of the Bruderheim" natural area",especially west of hwy 830 is riddled with thousands gas lines that have an extremely high H2s content. Many aren't buried very deep so be careful if you go over there. Having said that, there is one decent River access point at the very North end of RR211 ( just west of hwy 830 and North of Twp 564a). Turn right at the north end of 211and go about 100 meters. You'll see a steep decent that would be a good challenge coming up. Go past the steep decent and there is an easier road down to the river. Might be a nice spot for lunch

Thanks for the info Ronan! I have wheeled out there quite a few times but never to the West of 830, always to the east.

I will post up a better location to meet via Google Maps in a bit.

I use two 12V compressors to air up 2 tires at a time, which works OK to get me up in pressure enough to get home.

Man, sucks having to work! Especially if you know guys are out having fun at your expense. Plus side of life, you're working a stat holiday! The pay will be sick!

Seems like the wife might want to join now too, should be interesting.

A family that wheels together stays together right? Will be brining the camera!

Had the 2013 flexing out at Bruel hunting Elk all weekend. Snow hit last night, about 6-8 inches. The PW was the only truck on the Roads / Trails. All the other 4x4's were parked, they couldn't get around all that well so I had an area all to myself

My wife would be joining too but has to work.

Here is the Google Maps link to the meeting spot:

Hey guys. After the weekend with my youngest, I have to back out. He's still far too uncomfortable to spend excessive time in a truck. If anyone wants, we can set something up out rocky way come December. I'll be working every weekend between now and Dec 19, when we shut down for Christmas, except when I have my kids. So two weekends avaialble there, the 22-23 Nov, and the 6-7 Dec. I have 16 days over Christmas off, and have the boys from the 18-30, so we are pretty much open to going out then! Have fun tomorrow!

Hope your son keeps recovering! Good idea to back out, it's not worth aggravating something.

I will look at my calendar for the dates you mentioned and see if we can make something work.

Nice!!! I did the same when I was hunting except in mud. Went down a pretty nasty road that the other 4x4's wouldn't try.

That's great.. Looks like you all had fun. They were flying the power line across Hwy 830 today. You probably hesrd it or saw the activity just south of your meeting spot. Wished I was wheeling instead. Anyone get stuck? Ground is frozen but I guess the sand could have cause issues
