Thanks to everyone... Yes. I still need a co-pilot, I offered it to "05" and to "gsbear" and they cant make it.. Scott got on the "stand-by" list for the UA.... and from what I hear, there is always sombody that has to back out of the trip... SO with that said,,, We all might have the luck to see 2 PW's in the UA event....

I did throw out the invite for the co-pilot to a Navy buddy of mine that I served with.. I think he is a go for the trip:):):):):)

I'm super happy for you Mike! Truthfully, you were the better choice between us. I suppose it means I don't have to hurry so fast on my build. Is that a real plus though? LOL

I really wish they would do some "live feed" of the event. I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH YOU TEAR IT UP!! Who knows, maybe I will get in as an alternate! Oh shit, I better finish the build fast than! LOL

Damn right better finish that build and be ready. Congrats to both of you guys. Wish I could co-pilot but have my 2 week trip to Moab and Colorado planned since last year for my PW. Would love to any other time damn the luck. Would be a blast. All I can say is give it hell!

Thanks, AS I have been telling others,,, I am going to keep the bottle of Nitrous filled until just towards the end of the event, and on the last day (or close to it) , I am going to open that hemi/truck up and flog the fuck out of it until the fucking wheels fall off of it, hopefully end up on its lid..... Then hang it up (wet) and trailer her home to Florida, and prep it for the full Truggy Tube chassis rear with full double traingulated 4 link. I guarantee it will be a show, and I assure you, that all you Mopar and PW owners will be proud to watch this truck at its finest, and mercilessly brought into its breaking point, just to see how much abuse this truck can take:):):):):):):) For those that know me,,,,and my wheeling style,,,,,know, that it is going to be one HELL of a show....

LOL, thanks Gun! If you notice I hit him a bit too far back in the shoulder for a quartering shot, but it made for better blood splatter down the leg! I may have to shoot (re-paint) him again! I've had the plate stolen twice already, but have had several cops compliment it. Which I found surprising. I've had a few "crazy" people yell at me about it as well. Not surprisingly it was when I was in cities!

UPDATE: I got the call to be Michael Sutherlin's replacement in the ULTIMATE ADVENTURE yesterday.

I have five weeks to 4-link the rear end, cut 20" off the wheelbase, fabricate a flatbed for the rear with integrated shock towers, fuel cell, storage for parts, tools etc., fabricate the overhead rack/roll-cage, mount up two winches, fabricate rock sliders and new front bumper, etc etc etc!! I'm going to be busy.

Needless to say, my Power Wagon will become my Hazzard Wagon. A front and rear linked stubie full-size four door overland/expedition rig. Hopefully the rig I've always wanted! LOLOL

I'm going to wheel the hell out of this thing and make all of you proud! Michael was definitely the best choice from here, but I hope to be a good back-up! I may even take some dynamite with me and if there is any obstacle I can't go over or around I will blow it up and go through it!!

I also want to extend my thoughts to Michael and his family during this tough time. I won't say why he is not going on the Ultimate Adventure as it is his decision to share or not. Just know every dent and broken part on my truck will be dedicated to you and your family! Stay strong Mike!!!

It hits the lift on Friday and parts will be flyin', welders welding, and fluids running!! All tempered with the occasional standing back drinking a beer staring at it while saying such things as..."that didn't work right"..."will that even fit"..."what do you think of the girl in the new wall poster"..."you welded that in the wrong place"..."that bike you're riding while your truck is on the lift is a pretty pink color"..."pizza again"..."you might want to move that oily rag before you fire up the torch"..."I don't know why my metric sockets don't fit"..."you get laid last night"..."can you climb up there and get my sunglasses off the dashboard"..."I swear you said 4 5/8's"..."staring at it won't make it fit"...and of course "DUDE, IF YOU HAD LEFT IT ALL STOCK IT WOULD BE DRIVEABLE RIGHT NOW"
