It has come down to a choice for us, either OVX or buy an offroad teardrop. I went with the teardrop, so we will not make it this year. Anyone who is making it out there, I do request that you swing by the American Adventurist booth (either next to or across from the Overland Journal Booth) Check us out, and tell Dave that you are there for the "Power Wagon Band Wagon" he will know I sent you. :secret:

Lots of PW's at the show. Several on the exihibit grounds, quite a few in the parking lot. Had a decent chat with Nick Cappa from Ram about the '14, and pointed out the strengths and weaknesses I saw. He was very receptive. The AEV PW wannabe was sweet. Nice concept! I'll post some pics tomorrow. I was followed out on Sat afternoon by a 4th gen from Texas.

Had the opportunity to really inspect the new PW, and found the new suspension will give the aftermarket guys a few opportunities for upgrades. The lower radius arm will need a skid as will the rear link mount on the frame. If those two items can be covered, I see no real faults in the new system. They were doing ride along demos over the track, but I didn't do that - if I can't drive it, there is no point in it...

Also poked around the AEV truck - it might be nicer than a PW. Seriously, it's one hell of a nice truck.

Ya got a couple of BX's '09 PW. That's a well used and travelled truck. We were there with them, but Cactus Red was parked a long way out in the field.
